Does the simulator subject the pilots to the same G forces as in real air combat / dogfights? [sweatdrop]

They have G-FET, abbv. for Gravity Force Environment Trainer. If not wrong, only USA, Japan & SG has this, this will allow all Pilots to be certified to fly in high G manoeuvres, to ensure they don't get G-LOC in the actual plane

Their simulation is actually inside real aircrafts with mission objectives. The difference is instead of shooting real missles, they just need to lock-on the target. So no lives lost. They are also able to capture the full flight data of those aircrafts involve on the exercises, put on screen and debrief every single detail from take-off to landing, like watching their own top-gun re-run.

did some simple CSI work...

indeed, the current political office holders who came from SPF mostly left as Superintendents.

most prominent are the 2 Heng's, Heng Swee Keat and Heng Chee How. interestingly, they share the same surname, were both born in 1961, had the same scholarship (SPFOS), and their wives are both Deputy Secretaries in ministries.

Heng Swee Keat left as a SUPT in the mid-1990s to become MOE's Director of Higher Education (I believe this posting has something to do with his eventual appointment as Education Minister)

Heng Chee How also left as a SUPT in the mid-1990s to join NTUC. he lost his first election in 1997 to Low Thia Khiang.
