F355 Turbocharged July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 Yes when stopping at steep ramp , my left foot on brake pedal , right foot tapping lightly on accelerator , to prevent car from rolling back when moving off. Or, sometimes during standstill, my left foot on brake pedal , right foot flooring the accelerator , when I want to do a launch control.

Ezfaun 3rd Gear July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 Very fun to do. You can surprise a lot of people with a brake launch at 3k rpm. But not good for torque converter and GB if do too much.
Ahgong Supercharged July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 the only rational i could think of for doing that is to control rollback on a steep slope. otherwise, no.
Datsun366 Turbocharged July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 (edited) I got big feet, sometimes with inappropriate footwear, will get caught with both pedals. Always happens on the highway, hate the growling of the car and the lurch. Ya, scares the tailgater and myself. Never tried from takeoff. Not crazy enough I guess.
