Last few rounds it dropped progressively by 1.2-1.3k ? Hope the trend continues.

 

Come to think of it, how are these Car Dealers bidding for COEs not similar to syndicates who practice match fixing?

It will drop to $50k region within the next few bidding.

Then it should stabilise.

Agree that 50k would be a reasonable fig that it would stabilize. Anything lower would be a bonus.

Knowing how they work their sum, this increase of VEP is to cover 'lost' of revenue from another source... And I can only think of coe which will drop down the road which many are expecting due to increases in quota. ... Hehehe

There is a very high chance that the COE will move in an upward trend.

 

Also must see how the dealers will bid for the COE. If the dealers not kan chiong and patient (assuming its 6 bid sales agreement) then the price movement of COE would be more or less stable.

 

There might be an incentive for the dealers to be patient, if this round go in and bid the COE too high their profit margin will be eroded especially during the car show the price they offered are quite low.

i know someone booked a prius C abt 2 mths ago now still havent get yet... some dealers in no hurry to books sales i guess lol

My friend and I booked a car with AD last month but they said delivery is subject to COE. Could be anytime from now till Sept/Oct. look like they are not in the hurry.

When I spoke to an AD SE recently, he prefer COE to stabilise or goes down, rather than go up.

just my guess, COE prices will remain abt the same or all slightly increase except motorbike, that will come down.

cat B coe now only 30k, another 30k to go

bike COE can remain $1 till last 10 minutes.
