Yuan 6th Gear June 30, 2014 Share June 30, 2014 Hi, I also never use cheap brake and dun really trust these product to stop my car. Either OEM from Japan or Genuine .... For some car models or manufacturers, there is also the difference between Genuine parts and OEM parts. I would consider getting the parts from stockists or genuine parts suppliers. ↡ Advertisement

Pisces69 6th Gear July 4, 2014 Share July 4, 2014 Hi Fuelsaver, Your Airwave brake pad original only $50? or OEM NISSIN ? Price will be different if you purchase direct from Stockist , Spare Parts shop or direct deal with Workshop. Mine OEM from Korera abt $30/pair. Just as good as original. Buy in SG n bring to JB ws to install. Using for a few years already. No problem. Most Original n OEM similar. Now original also got from China so just make sure u check country of origin when u buy.

Ahbao999 1st Gear July 5, 2014 Author Share July 5, 2014 As for Akebono, is already available in Singapore recently. Was told that this brand was the No.1 brand in Singapore about 20years back. But due to huge increase in the pricing, no dealer wanna sell in the market. Now is back we shall benefit from it. My friend Mit Lancer CS3 just change his brake pad. He brought Genuine and realise that it was produced by Akebono.

Kingkong 5th Gear September 23, 2014 Share September 23, 2014 Braking quite spongy. Average. Must depress brake quite deep. Braking need to depress deep could be due to other reasons. Brake pads going botak soon could be one of the reason. Brake fluid getting low is another.
