A lot of people in EU are angry as well. Anyway, EU are suppose looking ways to turn back some these people. Hopefully soon.

To make things worst, ISIS is using the compassion of these people to sneak in people as fugutives.

3 months' jail for posting pro-ISIS threats
Tuesday, May 19, 2015 - 14:30
Olivia Ho
The Straits Times

A security guard who posted pro-ISIS threats on Facebook was jailed for three months yesterday for inciting religious violence.

Muhammad Shamin Mohamed Sidek, 28, made the two posts on Nov 29 last year, in reaction to a news report on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong taking part in a dialogue on the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Posting in Malay under the username "Achmad Falatehan", Shamin made statements such as "God-willing... we shall wait for the opportunity to hurl you down, face downwards, in a wretched state."

In another post, he wrote "even if there is no ISIS our ambition is still to burn you to ashes", adding: "We pray that Allah will permit that they capture and behead the officials that you sent there..."

In the news report that sparked the posts, PM Lee had commented that the ongoing conflict in Syria and Iraq has seen terrorist elements in South-east Asia regrouping, and called for "swift action to neutralise threats to Singapore".

Deputy Public Prosecutor Tan Wen Hsien argued that Shamin's posts used "graphic and evocative language" which "further encourages violence along... religious fault lines".

She added that the reach of the accused's words had been magnified by his use of Facebook and the Internet.

In mitigation, Shamin said he had deactivated his Facebook account that same day after leaving police custody, and that the posts had been those of "a simple layman... venting in frustration".

District Judge Shawn Ho called the accused's posts a "grim reminder of how offenders can use technology to stoke the flames of violence".

He added: "It is infinitely better to prevent a breakdown in law, order and safety than to deal with an aftermath when untold and often- irreparable damage has been done."

Shamin was also convicted of possessing contraband cigarettes, which were discovered in a police raid on his Tampines flat. For this, he received a fine of $3,200, or 16 days' jail if he defaults.

For making a document or electronic record containing an incitement to violence, he could have been jailed for up to five years, fined, or both.

I think 3 months is too little. These are not the words of a layman venting in simple frustration.

Those are some graphic and deliberate words. If he admires those fcks at ISIS so much... ship him there. If here... he needs one of those 24/7 monitoring ankle bracelets and kept off the internet.

We should support those who like to join ISIS to go to Syria.

They have just to remember to leave the passport when they leave, & close the door behind.

Have to accept the facts that the 10,000 killed are not mostly from Syria & Iraq but rather those volunteers from all over the world (countries like Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Yemen, British, .... etc) coming to join ISIS ... :dizzy:

Yahoo news: More than 10,000 jihadists killed since coalition raids: US

More than 10,000 jihadists have been killed in air strikes against the Islamic State group over a nine-month coalition campaign, US deputy secretary of state Antony Blinken said on Wednesday.

"We have seen enormous losses from Daesh (IS), more than 10,000 since the beginning of the campaign and this will end up having an impact," Blinken told French radio, without specifying whether the losses were in Iraq or Syria.

Blinken was speaking a day after an international conference in Paris in which 20 or so representatives of the anti-IS coalition pledged support for Baghdad's plan to claw back territory from the marauding jihadists who have conquered large parts of Iraq and Syria.

The coalition's strategy has been criticised for relying on air strikes without committing boots on the ground, but Blinken stressed there had been "significant progress".

Islamic State now controls "25 percent less of Iraq after nine months, a lot of their equipment has been destroyed and many Daesh members have been eliminated," said Blinken.

He nevertheless acknowledged the "resilience" of the group after the coalition has launched about 4,000 air strikes on them.

In a separate French radio interview, Iraq's ambassador to France, Fareed Yasseen, said the allies had heeded Baghdad's calls for more weapons to combat the group.

"The Americans have promised us and will shortly deliver missiles that will make the difference against these truck bombs ... which made us lose Ramadi," a key Iraqi city close to the capital.

"The French will be giving us similar weapons, ammunition and we are discussing other cooperation projects," the ambassador told Europe 1 radio.

Big brother had a major role to play afterall in the creation of this very sophisticated and smart Daesh group. Guardian has a nice write-up of the fractures within these extremist groups. It's almost like a mafia operation with how they've turned on each other.

I don't know how correct the story about the password is... (why would Maqdisi even let it be known to others if it was that humiliating)... but man... it'll be hilarious if it was.

Before any deal could be brokered, the Jordanians instructed Maqdisi to obtain proof that the pilot was still alive. In response, the Isis negotiators sent Maqdisi an electronic file that they claimed would provide proof of life – but the file was password protected.

On 3 February, after a few days of tense dialogue, the negotiators finally sent Maqdisi the password to unlock the file. When he received it, Maqdisi realised he had been betrayed: the password, in Arabic, was “Maqdisi the pimp, the sole of the tyrant’s shoe, son of the English whore.”
After he typed it in, one humiliating character at a time, a video appeared on Maqdisi’s screen. He watched in horror as Isis soldiers muscled the pilot into a cage, doused him in petrol, and burned him alive. Three hours later, Isis posted the video on the internet. The next day, Sajida al-Rishawi was taken from her cell and executed.

Australian government able to strip extremists' children of citizenship

SYDNEY: The Australian government will be able to strip the children of extremists fighting overseas of Australian citizenship under controversial legislation introduced into parliament on Wednesday (Jun 24).

Details of the so-called Allegiance to Australia bill were unveiled as the mother-in-law of one man believed killed in Iraq while fighting for Islamic state pleaded for his wife and children to be allowed to return home.

Karen Nettleton, the mother of Khaled Sharrouf's wife Tara, said her daughter had made the "mistake of a lifetime". "Today she is a parent alone in a foreign and vicious land looking after a widowed 14-year-old and four other young children," Nettleton said in a statement released by her lawyer.

Sharrouf and his best friend Mohamed Elomar shot to infamy last year after they and Sharrouf's 7-year-old son were pictured holding the severed heads of Syrian soldiers.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott said the government had a "high degree of confidence" Elomar had been killed but was less sure about the fate of Sharrouf, following reports they both perished in a missile strike last week.

Under the proposed legislation, dual nationals like Sharrouf and Elomar would automatically lose their Australian citizenship on the grounds of fighting for a terrorist organisation overseas. A terrorist organization is determined as such by the government as one that is "opposed to Australia, or Australia's values, democratic beliefs, rights and liberties."

Civil libertarians have objected to the automatic stripping of nationality based on government definitions of what constitutes terrorism and terrorist activity. The government said decisions would be open to a review by the courts, although this avenue of appeal is not stated explicitly in the bill.

The law can also be used retrospectively on people already in jail on terrorism offences. Children of outcast dual nationals can also be banished, although they may claim their Australian nationality via another "responsible" parent.

Nettleton said her daughter and grandchildren, one of whom she says was forced into an arranged marriage with Elomar, were desperate to come home.

Abbott said the children would be "dealt with in the same way that the family of criminals are normally dealt with." He did not rule out laying charges against minors.

The rights of people holding Australian citizenship only are still under consultation.

Australia is on high alert for attacks by radicalised Muslims or by home-grown militants returning from fighting in the Middle East, having raised its threat level to "high" and unleashed a series of high-profile raids in major cities.

Tunisia attack: Majority of dead were British, says Tunisian PM.

The majority of the 38 people killed in the attack on a Tunisian beach resort were British, the country's prime minister Habib Essid has said.

Islamic State extremists have said they carried out the attack.

At least five Britons have been confirmed dead by the Foreign Office, which warned the death toll could rise.

Thomson and First Choice said their customers were among "a number of fatalities", and they had sent 10 planes to bring home 2,500 tourists.

51-year-old Singaporean detained for trying to join ISIS
POSTED: 28 Jul 2015 16:00
SINGAPORE: A 51-year-old Singaporean has been arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA) after he had tried to join the terrorist group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the Ministry of Home Affairs said on Tuesday (Jul 28).
In late May, Mustafa Sultan Ali left Singapore and went to an unnamed regional country before flying to Turkey. He had taken that travel route in the hopes of hiding his tracks, MHA said, adding that he had planned to cross into Syria from the Turkish border.
He was detained by local authorities in Turkey and subsequently deported to Singapore in June, MHA said. In July, Mustafa was issued with a two-year Order of Detention.
Investigations showed that Mustafa had been “deeply radicalised by the terrorist ideology of ISIS and other radical ideologues he had come across online”, MHA said. He tried to make his way to Syria in order to “participate in armed violence by fighting alongside ISIS”, and was prepared to carry out ISIS-directed terrorist attacks against Western establishments in Singapore, it added.
In May, a 19-year-old Singaporean M Arifil Azim Putra Norja'I was detained for participating in terrorism-related activities and planning to carry out violent attacks in Singapore. Another radicalised 17-year-old Singaporean was also arrested in May under the ISA for further investigations into the extent of his radicalisation.
MHA urged members of the public who may be aware of any involvement in terrorism-related activities to inform the Internal Security Department (1800-2626-473) or the Police (999).
“The Government takes a very serious view of any form of support for terrorism, including but not limited to the use of violence, and will take firm and decisive action against any person who engages in such activities,” it said.

I find it unbelieveable but seems to be the truth. Some/many westerns/caucasians are so naive as to welcome almost any immigrants blindly. Some immigrants got ulterior motives also welcomed.

Example: some immigrants brought along their ulterior motive culture to rule the host countries that welcomed them. Failing which, the immigrants apply violence.

As for ourselves, we welcomed almost any immigrants too. Some/many of these immigrants refusing to work diligently. There is no competition from locals due to the 2-child policy earlier. Any new immigrants would soon apply the same protocol on the respective Employers.

To a scholar, an immigrant is an immigrant. Hopefully the immigrants brought along good Kharma, or are all saints. Locals shall face the consequences if the immigrants are not.
