battery flat is lanlan.. not say he take out half the cells inside the battery to save weight.

if my friend calls me and ask me to go rescue him cause he doesn't have a spare tire because he took it out to save fuel, then i will just sms him a tow service's number and go back to sleep.

unless its a super super super close friend. unfortunately (or unfortunately) i don't have such friends lol

you are right , battery I will help (if I my time available), unless he remove his spare battery (OEM) in order to cut the weight down to save petrol for him and at the expense of me.

but I ever kana 1 not very closed friend gather together already told him his car battery very weak (check 3 years old) go and change soonest possible , 1 week later 8pm his car battery kapo , he call me I told him I am not free (actually free LOL)

just pass him tow truck mobile (make him pay for the service charging ) so he will learn from lessen [bounce2]

dunlop is own by Sumitomo Rubber, so can say its EU or japan brand also same.

michelin make in thai is a france tyre? or thai tyre???

as for price, unless they promise their price is the cheapest in SG, there is nothing wrong if u manage to find some where selling cheaper.

if u source some more, u might get even cheaper still.

AL tyre is the only shop in the East I can find on Sunday morning to patch tyre.

You're lucky if you can find such a shop.

A couple of months ago on a Saturday morning 5am, I found my tyre flat.

I tried to patch on the wheel, but failed. Next I called 24hrs tyre rescue. Called 3 different companies, none of them answer the phone. So much for 24hrs.

Finally, I had no choice but to replace it with a spare tyre and drive to the rental company.

I'm old already, unfit, really shacked, but what choice do I have unless I wait a few more hours at the bus stop where my car is stranded ?

no TPMS? if you have a TPMS, can preempt. typically a puncture loses air slowly. very very rarely will be a blowout.

TPMS warned me.

Pump tire to 40psi and drove to AL tyre.

It's a rental car. I don't have anything personal fitted to it.

After I pick up a passenger, I notice the car was groaning. I stopped and came out to have a look. It was totally flat.

It was moving fine, not that long before. I inspect the tyre and there were lots of small screws stuck to it.

I believe it picked up those screws around Jurong West where many constructions are ongoing. Now if I can avoid, I would. I tried to stay near the centre of the lane.

At least if some arshole workers spill screws, it would be picked up by others instead of my car.

you can just fit an external kit. can bring it along with you. it prevents one from getting stranded. why quibble for $20 for one. i'm sure your time is worth more than the $20-30 to fit one to avoid being stranded. anyway your money your choice.

Hi ! Can you please recommend an external TPMS? I'm planning to install it in my car. 😊

I am trying very hard to understand the points here.

1) Change Tyre, 4pc?

2) Old tyres? 2 years old tyres? That is actually ok to some if they want to save $$$

3) 3 notches? What does this mean?

4) refill 3 tyres regular time? What does this mean? Refill air? But air does need to be refilled regularly…. Some recommend weekly

5) Latest post is Tyre got issue? What issue other than it looking old like what a Tyre should?

$85… is a steal if it includes balancing and replacement. And force selling? In Singapore still got such thing meh, should make police report.

The China tire got issue in about half a year after I installed (tyres were kept in seller -people’s auto trading store for 2 year before force selling it to me). After using it for 7 months, look at the pictures of the tires. It aged very fast. The rubber are vey lousy.

Don’t replace tyre at this store, those are for van and light truck. It does not suitable car.

You chose to use cheap china tyres, didn't verify production date before letting them install, then now come here to complain. :D

Triangle is a well known brand for TBR tyres, not PCR tyres.
