Vhtfhwlego Supercharged June 15, 2014 Share June 15, 2014 current ride airwave luv the airwave very much which 1 better? CRUZE is about 10k more based on current price turbo charge 140hp FS quite bare Nope of the above. Both Half here, half there. Somehow in today's tech, both cars seems so old tech. FS - need space but lack of BHP. If you load heavy cargo, GB cannot last? Cruze - pay CAT B COE for nothing more than a normal sedan car which cannot deliver good FC nor power. Hamburger Hypersonic June 15, 2014 Share June 15, 2014 but cruze turbo 140bhp should hv decent power rite cruze uses GM unit like saab, a after market tuner reflash the software and walah...........its a 2.4L hp & torque. Best of all, no hardware upgrade needed. can revert back to stock tune anytime with the handheld gadgets that comes with it.

How can a Italian GB (mine is 240k km) last longer than a Jap? Based on current SG carmart price, I think a MZ3, Kia K3 would be better choices. If don't like the above, models from Nissan also ok. Or can top up a little more, get Subaru XV.

Vhtfhwlego Supercharged June 15, 2014 Share June 15, 2014 Some say Alfa Romeo cannot buy. Yet mine GB outlasted airwave. Some say DSG cannot buy. Yet so many still buy. Some say CVT cannot buy. (I used to drive first gen FIT) and my GB slip at 20,000km yet lasted till 230,000km. Conventional Auto still the best but how many cars fitted with this WW2 tec and retains last then $100k this moment? Then ask you to drive manual, you sure say cannot because left foot will spoilt. Btw, I think FS & Cruze also CVT right?
Yahgo22 1st Gear June 15, 2014 Author Share June 15, 2014 guess Cruze is not CVT in terms of features and safety aspects Cruze beat HF hand down Cruze tax is also slighly cheaper HF is 1,5 while Cruze is 1,4 Petrol wiise Cruze should drink more

We know many AD brings lower specs to resell higher profits. Since cruze around for sometime already, go check out the 3-5 years old cruze and see how is the interior aged over time. Since you made up your mind already, then just go for it.

My cousin's cerato had all the airbags and the cruze I testdrive also had all the same airbags as the models overseas. That is one reason why I prefer korean car over jap now. Micb 5th Gear August 5, 2014 Share August 5, 2014 Just reviving this thread. Any bro here tested or booked the Cruze wagon recently? Understand it is still selling at $109,999. Looking at the OMV (around 17k?), it looks quite value given the current Cat B level. Not sure if they have the diesel variant. Any feedback on the AD and this model will be much appreciated. Thank you!
Bravo 2nd Gear August 5, 2014 Share August 5, 2014 Juz booked the cruze wagon. Best in its class cos i tested a few mpvs and wagon. (ford focus wagon, toyota wish, mazda5, opel astra/zafira wagon. i40wagon, Subaru xv, V60) For this price and quality, i guess this chevy is the cream of the crops. Merits of the Cruz in my opinion and experience: 1) 1.4turbo (low tax) 2) Petrol driven 3) Local dealership 4) Priced lowered compared to competitors 5) Nice and simple equipment eg, touchscreen lcd, reverse cam, side windows signal indicators, driver armrests, engine start/stop button, keyless entry, strong body structure etc etc. 6) 200nm of torque gives an edge over non turbo-ed competitors in its class 7) road holding is pretty good experience too. 8) sales staff is not pushy and quite knowledgable (I like to speak to people who knows their stuff and not memorise their products from scripts) Thats all I can think of at the moment.
