Somehow in today's tech, both cars seems so old tech.

FS - need space but lack of BHP. If you load heavy cargo, GB cannot last?

Cruze - pay CAT B COE for nothing more than a normal sedan car which cannot deliver good FC nor power.

cruze uses GM unit like saab,

 

a after market tuner reflash the software and walah...........its a 2.4L hp & torque. Best of all, no hardware upgrade needed.

 

can revert back to stock tune anytime with the handheld gadgets that comes with it.

How come the AW GB will GB so fast? How can a Italian GB (mine is 240k km) last longer than a Jap?

 

 

Based on current SG carmart price, I think a MZ3, Kia K3 would be better choices.

If don't like the above, models from Nissan also ok.

 

Or can top up a little more, get Subaru XV.

Its been widely known that CVT GB cant last

 

heard of cases where CVT GB up lorry much earlier

Some say Alfa Romeo cannot buy.

Yet mine GB outlasted airwave.

 

Some say DSG cannot buy.

Yet so many still buy.

 

Some say CVT cannot buy.

(I used to drive first gen FIT) and my GB slip at 20,000km yet lasted till 230,000km.

 

Conventional Auto still the best but how many cars fitted with this WW2 tec and retains last then $100k this moment?

 

Then ask you to drive manual, you sure say cannot because left foot will spoilt.

 

Btw, I think FS & Cruze also CVT right?

How come all the car make GB so lousy one or your driving style lousy.GB where got so easy gameover,my Toyota Allion GB only up lorry on 440K and after overhaul now 594K already also no problem.

So far for the koreans I sat in we are able to get the same specs with Eur and US in terms of safety. Only japs cannot. My cousin's cerato had all the airbags and the cruze I testdrive also had all the same airbags as the models overseas. That is one reason why I prefer korean car over jap now.

the other deciding factor are

 

since HF is just another AW with a bigger power

 

Cruze will be a better choice

 

also HF is PI while Cruze is an agent car

 

1 thing i do not like the AW is its width

 

I feel it is a little cramp on sideway

How is this done? Could you tell me more about it? Cruze 1.4L can be retune to 2.4L using after market tuner reflash?

Any bro here tested or booked the Cruze wagon recently? Understand it is still selling at $109,999.

 

Looking at the OMV (around 17k?), it looks quite value given the current Cat B level.

 

Not sure if they have the diesel variant. Any feedback on the AD and this model will be much appreciated.

Best in its class cos i tested a few mpvs and wagon. (ford focus wagon, toyota wish, mazda5, opel astra/zafira wagon. i40wagon, Subaru xv, V60) For this price and quality, i guess this chevy is the cream of the crops.

 

Merits of the Cruz in my opinion and experience:

1) 1.4turbo (low tax)

2) Petrol driven

3) Local dealership

4) Priced lowered compared to competitors

5) Nice and simple equipment eg, touchscreen lcd, reverse cam, side windows signal indicators, driver armrests, engine start/stop button, keyless entry, strong body structure etc etc.

6) 200nm of torque gives an edge over non turbo-ed competitors in its class

7) road holding is pretty good experience too.

8) sales staff is not pushy and quite knowledgable (I like to speak to people who knows their stuff and not memorise their products from scripts)

 

Thats all I can think of at the moment.
