ODCmaniac 2nd Gear April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 Does Vkool affect GPS map signal? Especially HU GPS and phone Google map. It does has impact on my garmin gps as in delay in picking up signal but not so much on my hp google map. I used the same garmin gps in my wife's car without windscreen solar film, it is able to pick up signal almost instantly. ↡ Advertisement
Gxpfy21 Neutral Newbie April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 Thinking of installing solar film from zencar because it is quite cheap for around $300 for film with 80% heat rejection but i read a few negative reviews about them.. Any comments? Could it be cheap for a reason?

y2kjericho86 1st Gear April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 Please do report back on the results with your film. Did you ask how much the Platinum99/Platinum Plus is? I am looking for something with maximum IRR, but also maximum VLT... Ah, for that one its 770. Tintsy is having a promotion. I smsed Trent, the manager, he says the offer ends at the end of the month. Otherwise normally, i heard that the PLatinum is plus is 1 K? I think so? I might be wrong, call and ask for Trent. Yeah for sure, I will let you guys know how the result is. For now, I just have to wait 48 hrs for it to set in.
flashbang Turbocharged April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 Hi all, just got my Toyota Wish (2015) windows solar film installed with Tintsy Cool International Pte. Ltd. The stock 3M solar film was terrible. I park a whole day under the sun, the car feels like a sauna. First time trying Tintsy Cool. I really hope it works!! Pretty interested to see how it goes for me. I went for the Tintsy Platinum. $660. Tintsy is having a discount. Mine was 30% off. I got a 10- year warranty with them plus they change my sun visor stip at the top of the front windshield. The installer was pretty patient and friendly and they do demonstrate the solar film with a bright light and then ask you to put your hands behind it and ask you to feel the heat with or without the film. How have your experiences been so far with other places? Tintsy Classic VLT : 25% - 89% UVR : 99% IRR : <45% 5 years full warranty. - Nano-Ceramic Technology Tintsy Premium VLT : 25% - 89% UVR : 99% IRR : 60%-70% 7 year full warranty. - Nano-Ceramic Technology Tintsy Platinum VLT : 25% - 85% UVR : 99% IRR : 70%-80% 10 years full warranty. - Nano-Ceramic Technology The only film to achieve 99% of Infra-Red rejection!! Mason016 Supersonic April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 Parked at open space carpark for 2.5 hours, no shade. Car was hot when I went in. Turned on air con full blast and waited for about 3 to 5 minutes, car cool again. Only annoying thing is the sun glare because I don't have the top strip due to wowo city safety box.
