hitlerson21 Clutched October 8, 2015 Share October 8, 2015 (edited) Good morning! DId you install the tweeters back at the same position or placement at the pillar? I have an amp and 2 way speakers on hand but still hesitating installing them. Feel a little heart pain to do up on a new car. I also did ask about the alarm installation. They told me they had to cut some wire on the door which will void the door warranty. Thank you and kudos to information sharing! Placement is a the pillar. Not at same position as the OEM tweeters are too far front. I installed tweeter pods as well. I did it at ST audio as it was near my working place. Xman13 1st Gear October 11, 2015 Share October 11, 2015 My SE informed me that this car's FC should be around 10-11km/l, so it can't be normal for your case. You can also point out to them that their advertised FC is 15.1km/l, almost double what you're getting! I'm also getting slightly below 10km/l now but I'm still running in the engine so I guess it's to be expected, but my latest tank of V-Power Nitro is giving me quite good mileage, around 430km and still got 3 more cubes on the fuel gauge. Yeah, can't expect much from locally fitted leather I guess, but at least they should make an effort to clean off those obvious white marks...even after they changed out the leather seats, I still found the same type of marks on the new seats, meaning they didn't even bother to check it, just change for the sake of changing... My previous Colt Plus factory fitted leather seats from Japan also still looks fabulous after 6yrs, only sent it in for grooming once at C&C. Trip meter shows 12.2km/l, but manual calculation only 8.5 km/l, very unhappy with the car. Still new at this Fuel consumption is quiet worrying. tytytyty Neutral Newbie October 12, 2015 Share October 12, 2015 wow. that's really good for a 8-9 yo wish .. .. seriously I would be satisified if it can hit 500Km for a 50l pump , exclude reserve tank. but I think most of us would have bought a wish instead , If not for the old outlook of wish , and not forgetting the sliding doors .. may I suggest to round up the brotha / sista here , since our this forum is getting more activity now... I'm getting around there too on the similar split of HW/City. oops...that's quite.....my 9yo wish can hit 550km-580km quite easily per ~50l with 20%hw and 80% city... Wish has the best fc among all the compact MPV. Just comparing the weight of Wish & M5, that's a big different. However, Wish noisier than M5 too. So, some of the weight must be coming from the cabin noise isolation. The sliding doors added some weight for sure, at least the motor. If you happened to hear the 'bang' sound on the closing of the door, you'll realised the different as well.

If you're comparing a Wish to our M5, definitely the Wish should have better FC because their engines are tuned for efficiency and not performance, also the weight diff is not negligible. I doubt anyone chooses a Wish because it is more engaging to drive haha!
BenjaminTay_83149 1st Gear October 13, 2015 Share October 13, 2015 Just to update that I've managed to get 512km with my last tank of V-Power, pumped 51L so that works out to around 10km/L...looks like the FC is improving over time, which is what I was hoping for. After I finish using up my Shell petrol vouchers, might consider going back to Esso 95. Anyone using Esso 95 now?
Erictl76 1st Gear October 13, 2015 Share October 13, 2015 (edited) I'm on SPC Levo 95, if driving in to M'sia, will be Shell 97 full tank home. I noticed recently that quite a no of new M5 on the road, weekend saw a few SKT, SKU, SKV plate, and just now saw a nice red SKV plate near Golden Shoe also. Enegue_aol 1st Gear October 13, 2015 Share October 13, 2015 Im using esso 95 now. Mileage is around 10.5-11.3km/l after per pump manual calculation. 30-40% highway 60% city as im doinrg sales. Something i noticed. Dunno if it helps. I find it more economical to cruise at 90-100km/hr rather than 70-90km/hr. Maybe you can try. :)

Really tempted to switch back to Esso now hehe :P 100km/hr on highways is quite normal for me, but thanks for the tip! Btw, are there any wheel rim experts here who can advise me whether a set of Rays Gram Lights 57 17" rims (pcd 5x114.3, ET43, 17x7j) will fit on our new M5? I've checked online and found out that our M5 rims are pcd 5x114.3, ET52.5, 6.5j, but not sure if it's still possible to fit these rims...any advice would be much appreciated!
