You're supposed to use 0W20 if yours is the SkyActiv version.

I am with the skyactiv version. Does it matter of my car's mileage is high at 95,000km? Thank you

Hi all....

I bought my Mazda 5 in year 2018.

My car Galactio GPS is updated on 2017....hence map a bit outdated.

Any bro here kind to share where and how i can get my GPS map update to latest version?

I wrote to Eurokars and was told they charge whopping $190 for just GPS map update....

I suggest just forget about the Galactio map and use Google Map instead. Upgrade the HU to a unit that supports Android Auto (or Apple Car Play if you're an iPhone user) and you're good to go.

After 4 weeks with 3 full tanks of driving, the petrol consumption is about the same prior to the installation of the e-trottle.

My setting is mild sporty and the driving pleasure is good as I do not need to step hard even when I climb the steep ECP bridge.

Hi guys. Mazda 8 owner here..couldnt find a forum for mazda 8 owners haha.

I am having issues with my sliding door not being able to close properly. It is able to open, then for closing, it gets stuck in the 1st few seconds. If i off power doors, i can slide it open n close.

Any workshop to recommend? I dont wish to visit those shops that dont really repair this before and they gonna go through everything to find out the issue and maybe still cant solve it.

TIA...cheers!

Hi

Need some advice.

We are thinking of buying Mazda 5 2018. Should we buy? 3 yrs old car and selling at 74k. Tia!

Go test drive to get a feel of it. It's a value for money MPV, low maintenance so far for 3.5yrs of ownership. Comfortable, powerful for its class and fuel efficient in my opinion (getting 10-12km/l based on 50/50 city/highway)@Denise_mag

Look for Darren from Autotrend Enterprise. I done my foot brake lock (i.e. once all door closed, you step on brake pedal and all doors will lock) there last time.

Thanks for Sharing Bro. Can you recall roughly how much it cost? So far you hv not encountered any issues right?

Thank you so much Cwinedine!

We bought already. Took the car few days ago. I don't drive but I feel the drive is smooth and comfortable. So far so good!

We need to fix solar film tinted. The dealer told us the car has but windows looks transparent. In addition, any difficulties trying to get into the 3rd row? We find the chair heavy to move forward. 🙂 Other than that, I'm glad I buy this car instead of a 2nd hand C4 or Touran. Scared high maintenance!

Hi Denise,

I have been driving my mazda 5 for 5 years. The sliding door is the best function for baby seats. I totally love them.  It is economical to maintain and this car has served me very well.  I am using 0 20w engine oil and mileage is between 10-11 km/litre.

You may like to consider to check the brakes,  change the brake fluid and also the ATF.

As for moving the seats, you will get use to it. The previous owner may not have used it too often, thus the difficulty.

Zoom zoom and enjoy your ride!

Cheers!
