Thanks for your advice, I did that and was able to regain my steering wheel settings! Gamsiah!

Also want to inform that I have been to Monster Garage for my 30k servicing. Folks there were professional and friendly. I am glad I saved almost half in servicing compared to what TEK quoted. Will be back for my car matters. Thanks again to bros/sis here for the kind sharing.

I also change my transmission fluid there too.

Finally found someone who solve my dim boot lighting problem. When to a few workshops to ask about installing boot light on the rear ceiling of my boot but get the feeling they reluctant to do so I installed led bulb which helps enhance a little more brightness to the cabin however I still can't see everything. Till I chance upon this guy from Carousell (https://sg.carousell.com/p/led-boot-light-strip-230237075/) , made an appt with him, went down to his house carpark and got the light installed in less than 10mins..bloody impress. Not only was he fast, he also conceal the wires like a professional workshop installer!

Hi Mazda 5 owners! Can I check if you are seeing annual increase in Mazda 5 comprehensive insurance coverage from AIG?

I bought the car in Sep 2017 with AIG provided by Trans Eurokars and started with 700+ p.a. for OPC. When I renew in 2018 it was about 800 p.a. and recently they quote me 900 with no claims against me at all over last 2 years.

Hi guys, I just got my 2nd hand Mazda 5.

I'm thinking of changing rims to 17".

Anyone on 17" rims? How bad is the fuel consumption after changing to 17" rims?

Hi.

Recently i realised that my M5 Blaupank Cam has some problems.  I check the stored history and found that it was not complete eg.  ride of 20 mins should have recorded videos of 5 to 10 tranche each few minutes....but found that there is missing of some videos history .

This may pose serious problem when i need to view the recorded videos history.

Anyone can help?

I'm not facing this problem though, but i just discovered another problem, that my cam cannot connect to the iOS app, even though the wifi is connected. I wonder whether we can do a factory reset or maybe update the firmware? Maybe we need to do that for both our problems? Anyone done that before?

Hi All!

I like to share my new fun with Mazda 5.

I just changed my engine oil to brand GReddy and was very amazed at the response of the engine after that. The car is responsive and even the engine sounds so much better! haha

A few weeks later,  I also changed my tires to Premacy 4 at $150 each. So far, road noise is at lowest and am very satisfy with the new tires. I am very curious to test these tires during wet weather. I was on PS4 previously and holding was just all superb!

cheers to All

Mine was in 2017 too and AIG had an special deal when i bought 2yrs Insurance from them incl NCD protector for 1.9k. And recently the renewal came at 1.5k for 1 yr and I immediately called them to ask them what was going on. They came back to counter 1k which I said it's okay, i got better offer from other insurance companies.  Finally we closed the deal at $800! Do shop around and compare quotes. There's many good car insurance companies out there and very competitive, they should always reward those who stay on with them & make no claims a better renewal price.

Is it still under warranty? If yes, go back to Agent. I had a FOC replacement before.

You will never go wrong with Michelin that's y the Primacy is priced higher than the Pilot Sports for the same size. I was using Primacy 3 previously and they were so quiet & comfortable but they are premium to pay. I have since switch to Hankook brand and they serve the same purpose. Nevertheless, if I can afford, I will definitely pay for Michelins.

Thanks buddy. They brought it down to 900++ for me and we closed it off after making some noise (asking them to check with underwriter again and again). Let me try the better offer method next year as I find it ridiculous that they kept increasing year after year.
