Hi Bros, I saw cartmart showing Mazda 5 no longer being sold by local distributor, what does it mean? Will it be difficult on maintaining the car if I got a Mazda 5 now?

Saw one 2016 Mazda 5, considering getting it... any advice? Thanks!

Not really ---

Push Start you can install at M5 - but may impact warranty.

Power sliding door - you can't install at Wish.

Standard package with leather seat?? Mine don't have ler  [mad]

The trick was: you buy standard package and then negotiate with your SE for the free upgrade to leather seat, or at least pay a certain amount.

You can also ask for leather seat + film.

The difference that you save when taking "standard" package + paying for leather & film = would be all other accessories that you don't care to have in Wish.

Hi all. I just got a jan15 m5. I saw a lot of people posting about TLW. Isit a appointed dealer by TEC or is just a workshop specializing in mazdas?

I went to TWL, they change the card, all ok now. The owner told me that is issues on some batch, replacement card will do the trick. Do go early as limited parking space. I was there at 9.30,( just open no space).... no charge for the fix...

I'm also having trouble with the GPS on the Mz5.  Here's a screen shot of it:

and sorry for the noob question, may I know what's TWL and where is it located?  Thanks! :)

Good choice, dude.

Have been driving M5 for 7 months. Wish is more fuel cost- efficient and has 6 airbags (vs M5 2 airbags). The bench seat for passengers in Wish also means it is more spacious.

Feedback from M5 drivers indicate fuel consumption is about 10- 12.5 litre/ 100 km, which is pretty low since it boasts skyactiv engine and i- stop function.

The only good thing M5 has is its power sliding door (super convenient for young children and elderly) and most importantly it is a pretty cheap car.

I have driving Mazda 5 for 19 months. So far the FC never meet my expectation, usually 10 to 11 km/litre even wirh skyactiv. The istop is a good feature but when the battery wear out, you find the saving is not there. I am told you cant find it after market amd it me $340 with gst and labour. So you must put every 1.5 year change battery in your budget. Check Honda step wagon, it might suit you.
