Turbocharged

1k Servicing very fast. If dont want to wash car, even faster. Remember to tell them your GPS got issues. Same time they can upgrade your GPS SD cards.

My M5 GPS also goes into error msg after first 2 months. I unplugged it until the next servicing. [smallcry]

Its not exactly a wide angle camera so there will be limitations as to how much adjustments will help though.

Hi Putumayam, yes....you are right. The reverse camera given to us is the super narrow view type which defeats the purpose of installing one as you have almost zero visibility. The sales executive has also confirmed that Eurokar does not offer the wide angle camera. My previous Honda sedan comes with the wide angle version. In fact, so does most of the cars in SG market.

The current reverse camera given by Eurokar is pretty useless to me. I have gone to outside workshop and change to a better camera that has the wide angle view and for a decent price. The reverse view is so much broader now and a great help during both vertical and horizontal parking. Also note that not all car workshop know how to troubleshoot. Most just say that it is due to the angle or positioning of the camera.

Folks, just collect my ride. Some Qns:

1.Notice my solar film don't have rikecool on the screen. Normal?

2. Can I use the gps while my kids watch the dvd?

3. Upon collection, was given a laptop bag. Was told to keep 2 warranty card. Is that all?

Be careful when reverse in mscp, reverse into a metal bar.

Hi Previousdriver,

Sorry for the late replies...

I drive very gently and always avoid sudden acceleration.

Sometimes, I will let go of my accelerator and adjust my footing to be as gentle as possible, while maintaining the same speed... When moving, I will try to keep my average speed, on the display information, to be less than 8 litres/ 100km...

I also followed Putumayam's advice and relied on Madza 5's heavy weight to cruise (gently tapping or even without touching my accelerator) to a gentle stop before a traffic light. This way, I do not have to brake too hard.

This is the result of the fuel efficiency today.

Mileage: 668.2Km
Esso Extra: 48.11 litres
Consumption: 13.89 km/ litres (7.19 litre/ 100km)

Yes always remember to look for protruding objects when reversing. This is regardless of what model of vehicle u drive.

Sometimes we are just too reliant on reverse sensors that we take situation awareness for granted.

For rikecool just feedbcak to mazda service centre during ur 1km servicing. They will arrange to get it sorted out for u. :)

No prob parking with my previous Mazda 3. Whereas M5 is a bit high to reverse park in mscp with metal bar overhanging.

This park brake is a bit low. Have to be intentional to release handle fully til the indicator goes off.

Is there a engine temp indicator anywhere?

Istop seems to restart way before I move ahead again. How to resolve?

My FC is ok showing 7.5l/100km. Mainly highway.
