Powxus 3rd Gear August 8, 2014 Share August 8, 2014 Are they phasing out mazda 5? Maybe Biante replace M5. Maz8 is 2.5L right? unlikely Mz 5 will be replaced by Biante as it is much cheaper and can complete with the Wish.
Heartlander Turbocharged August 8, 2014 Share August 8, 2014 unlikely Mz 5 will be replaced by Biante as it is much cheaper and can complete with the Wish. Actually currently Biante about 150k and Wish about 144k, not far off. Of course Mz5 much cheaper at 133k. But Mz5 is a evergreen model, won't be obsoleted one. So if you want to know actual price have to go to show room and ask.
Notsogoodman 4th Gear August 8, 2014 Share August 8, 2014 how come Mz5 and Biante only 2 airbags? That you have to ask the dealer why they only bring in models with 2 airbags..

Wiiuwii 1st Gear October 3, 2014 Share October 3, 2014 Can someone tell me if the 2nd row middle seat has seat belt too? Yes and it's 3-point seat belt. The seatbelt is retractable from the roof.
Quantum 5th Gear October 3, 2014 Share October 3, 2014 That you have to ask the dealer why they only bring in models with 2 airbags.. compromised safety feature to control price is stupid strategy, eventually will lose consumers, conti automakers did much better than Japanese nowadays peoples all cherish life than money,
Fuelsaver Supercharged November 16, 2014 Share November 16, 2014 Just test driven Mazda 5 w skyactiv technology. Much better than many mths back version. Gb is 6at vs prev 5at. 2nd, 3rd gears pull much better. Handles like conti, maintains poise when going over uneven rd surfaces at 80+kph. AD will local installing touch screen DVD w gps, rev cam, brand may be pioneer or blaupunkt. Last row seats slightly seats better than most 7seater suv n mpv. Issues I have - no push start, drl, hid n awkward right sided position of antenna, 2nd row ctr seat kinda stiff, avg quality speakers n local fit 1/2 leather seats. now that u guys mentioned airbags, it's another issue. Coolpica 4th Gear November 16, 2014 Share November 16, 2014 (edited) I fail to understand why Mazda Singapore is only offering 3 years or 100k warranty for its cars when the norm is 5 years/unlimited mileage among other Japanese brands. 5 years/unlimited is available upon taking 50% loan Edited November 16, 2014 by Coolpica
Fuelsaver Supercharged November 17, 2014 Share November 17, 2014 I fail to understand why Mazda Singapore is only offering 3 years or 100k warranty for its cars when the norm is 5 years/unlimited mileage among other Japanese brands. 5 years/unlimited is available upon taking 50% loanSome AD called it 3+2 unlimited mileage; 3yrs from mfgr n 2 from AD. I failed to understd the diff, since any warranty still must go back to AD. Mayb only benefit AD if they claim 1st 3yr from mfgr. It is available. U r right, manufacturer's warranty means AD claims cost from manufacturer.... Otherwise, AD gotta be out of pocket... it also means probably harder to claim replacement parts on 4th & 5th Yr

Notsogoodman 4th Gear November 18, 2014 Share November 18, 2014 Tks for enlightening me. So toyota should b a better bet since it offers 5yr unlimited mileage warranty. 1. Did TE confirm that it's 3yrs by Manufacturer & 2yrs by AD? 2. What about Borneo? All 5 years from them? If both offer 5 years unlimited, i wouldn't really care under who... I would go for the car that I like

Fuelsaver Supercharged November 18, 2014 Share November 18, 2014 Btw, test driven both. Power similar. handling mz5 more composed, wish more comfort due to 15". space esp last row wish better comfort based on my 1.7+ 70kg frame as leg can stretch better, wo sacrificing 1st n 2nd rows leg rm. wish seats more comfy, mz5 too firm for my liking, esp 2nd row ctr really pushes u out. Sound sys wish better bass. Airbag wish 6, mz5 2. Wish only 1 armrest for driver, mz5 has 2 (2 at 2nd not counter due to sliding door no door armrest). Mz5 no push start / keyless. Wish no sunroof, mz5 no Monitor for 2nd n 3rd row occupants. ↡ Advertisement
