Anyone send their kids there? Heard of any review?

 

My daughter is attending the playgroup class.. she is only 2. Still cant speak well and I am worried if the school teacher may neglect her as she requires alot of attention.. v whiny at times. Can share your experience.?

You need to find out what's the children to teacher ratio in each class.

All childcare more or less will have the same problem. Sometimes just need to close 1 eye if it's not too serious.

 

If 2 troddlers from each class were to give problem at the same time from each class, do you think the teachers can manage? Surely 1 will be ignored or given less attention.

 

So it's best not to know too much. It'll never set your heart at ease. So long as your child does not get hurt, it should be ok.

Let them learn. Were your parents as protective on you when you were a kid?

Based on personal experience, it's impt tat the school doesn't change teacher every other few mths!

Very disruptive for the child learning progress. My kids previous childcare often change

teacher machiam like changing clothes!!! While in N1, can change 2-3 times form teacher!

Not to even mention the Chinese teachersssssssss!!!

 

Currently, she's in another childcare. Although its more expensive, at least she's learning alot more

compared to her previous sch...

 

Another thing tat I like abt her current sch is tat BOTH their form teacher and Chinese teacher will be

ard from 9am (when lesson starts) til end of lesson which is at 5pm.

 

U will also be able to know more info abt your girl thru her form teacher as she's the main point of contact with your girl.

 

In my case, as the sch teachers normally will be ard even at 6pm, I often have the chance to know abt my kids progression there.

I think it's norm. Kids can get whiny some times. But at times you have got to stand your ground and say no to your kid's demands.

 

If your kid can't speak well, the parents will have to spent more face time talking to your kid. Face to face so that your kid is able to see how you pronounce the words. Reading bed time stories before going to bed.

Only 2 can't expect to speak very well right?

More important is how she interact with people. As long as alert, responsive, playful, curious etc etc. . Means her mental development is ok, some kids speak later one. No worries.
