The Edge of Tomorrow: Sci-Fi Movie 2014

Caught the show in malaysia last weekend.

 

Not disappointed at all. Those grew up with Groundhog Day movie will find the story line very familiar, though the cause of the "rerun" is abit far-fetched for me. You just have to swallow it as the whole movie hinged on this tiny detail.

 

Otherwise, it is a very very entertaining show for me. The CG effects are excellent as usual, andcertain parts are really funny. Even my primary school kids can understand the plot without any explaining. Best, no nudity or hanky panky scenes. Definitely safe to bring your kids along as excuse, haha.

The movie like what the story was about..... Keep repeating that drag the movie to 133min.

 

What happen in that 133 min? nothing much !

 

Movie was quite predictable and half the time it was funny which make it less boring. I would say it is entertaining but nothing to bring home at the end of the show.

 

There were quite a few movie about repeating each day or when you die, I saw one movie of same story happen in the train,same thing that the actor keep dying and going back to find the bomb in the train to stop a bigger tradegy, anyone remember the name of that movie?

I find the show quite well done...following quite closely to the novel adapting the names and conversations into the movie quite well. It was action packed with some light moments....can see Tom's Character demeanor changes thru each iteration
