I personally won't recommend this brand unless there's excess annual leaves.

Yeah. And make sure you pay cash in full else if you want to get rid of it you won't be penalised by the loan rules.

Only early this week i heard one person is changing from peugeot to a new car. Reason: it died on the road 3 times (but to be fair, it's about 6-7 yo…).

One time was at a U-turn. Had to depend on other motorists to help push the car to road side...

Last night, a few of us had the privilege of inspecting Z234user's 2014 Noah including a ride. Thank you! Wonderful MPV (though the wife wasn't as enthusiastic when I told her its much larger than our current MPV)! Now I have three options:

1. Noah - most costly option

2. A new facelifted Isis (thanks to Duckduck for the link) - hurts the wallet lesser, still a great car

3. Extend the COE on my current Isis - manageable

why is leather seat a must? i think in SGP, most car comes with leather seat even for some basic model. over time, it has become a standard requirement. mine is also leather....hehe

so what is the diff btw the classic and elegant model? only the leather seat + DVD player? 4k for just these 2 is a bit too much.

for me, dvd player is something that the kids put as 1st priority as it keeps them entertain/quiet.

have you seen the facelifted isis? if its the same.. might as well renew your current isis. still the cheaper option if no major repairs. you need to consider your mileage at year 20. the good thing about renew coe now is that you can get back cash anytime you scrap. your loss is limited to the prorated usage and the PARF that you lost on the isis at year 10. so if the parf isnt too much it makes sense to renew and see how the coe goes.

But I find leather gets very hot after the sun shines on it. My previous rides all leather. Am thinking if I'm going for the Wish classic, I'll stick to fabric for a change. Anyone with fabric seats with positive feedback?

Very pathetic. The car is supposed to give me convenience and end up I have to sayang it. [bigcry]

fabric covers are not as warm definitely. But since it's not washable. I will always choose leather!

Engine should be ok. but is the Isis prev gen also CVT gearbox. I'm not sure if a CVT gearbox can withstand 20 years without a major overhaul. Given the problems some pple already face even with 10 years.

Fabric seats are perfect home for dust & dust mites... Easily stained if you have kids or you are like Jack Neo.

Then again, there may be better fabric these days.

If I go outside and fit my own leather seats, do the workshop remove my fabric cover or will they have a ready template for common models and just wrap over it?

It wasn't his stains that gave him away, it was her mouth [laugh] [laugh]

Haha, this is the problem with conti, esp French. For family cars, it's still better to go for Jap.
