Seems that they are everywhere..... Hope they are just the red light camera and not the speed camera, otherwise xiao Liao ... Very glad that I bought the Thinkware in-car camera, which uses the GPS module to know the car's location, as well as with a database of known speed and traffic light camera locations. 200 metres before the junction, the camera will warn "Speed and red light camera in 200 metres". SINGAPORE - The Traffic Police has begun installing digital traffic cameras around Singapore since March 1 this year. A total of 240 such cameras will be installed by next June and to date, half of them have been installed, said the Traffic Police today (Nov 10). Saw somewhere that the camera can catch red-light violators, as well as those who speed through the junction above the approved speed limit while green light is on. Don't have the article but remembered it being reported that all the 200+ new cameras are all digital and can detect both speeding and red light runners. First new one is at junction of Holland and Nth Buona Vista Rd towrads city. Second new camera is at junction of Farrer Road and Holland Road, towards Queensway.
