I think they got lup deep deep by the 1.6/130bhp.

Those 1.0/1.2 litre would be killed by the buffet mentality of point 1.

The Galant Fortis had potential to slug it out with Altis, K3, Elantra, Sylphy but sway sway 1.8L.

Though the 5-10k coe diff bet Cat A & B is academic once u take loan, most will not see pass that less Toyota.

Think Mitsu is an unfortunate victim of our scholarly coe system. At least for the time being.

In Macro view, MMC 's R&D do not yield any good return for them ... Lots of techs investment but no actual result to deliver to consumers, also their design is so dated to appeal any old and new customers.

Mitusbishi should learn from Jeep and Land rover,

I can see Jeep Rubicon and Range Rover in my company carpark and others SUV, which means SUV is a trend in Singapore,

as long as price is not too ridicules, Pajero definitely have a place in SUV market

Yes, They SHOULD.

Current Pajero lack the crude attractiveness of Land rover, the luxury of range rover and the masculine sexiness of jeep.

it just a rock solid (boring) SUV to any guys, gays, girls and lesbian... Do you heard before this phrase "Good Guys don't finish last, Boring Guys Does."

Outlander PHEV could be a game changer. It provides the utility of a large vehicle, and the FC of a small car. Could this be the start of a more electric future?

Neutral Newbie

Hey guys, I'm new here and need some help but am not allowed to start new topics yet. I'm from Mauritius and will buy a car in the coming weeks. My option are

1)Toyota Vitz (1.0l)

1) Mitsubishi Lancer GLX (comes in 1.3l, 1.5l and 1.6l) i.e 4G13, 4G15, 4G18

I'm guessing you guys from Singapore have the GLX with the 4G18 engine.

I've been reading the forums about the 4G18 and most people are saying that the FC is going to be around 11-12km per litre.

How would it be compared to the 4G13 and 4G15?

Also is only the GLX with the 4G18 called CS3 or are the GLX with the 4G13 and 4G15 known as CS3 as well?

My question is which one is going to be better in terms of FC(out of the three engines of the GLX vs the 1l toyota engine), reliability and maintenance costs?

Please help me out guys. Also should I try to post it in a specific thread to get some more specific details?

Thanks

FC, reliability wise, Lancer GLX 1.6L is a option, a lot in 2nd hand market, and maintenance costs low,

don't think 1.3l, 1.5l Lancer still available in Singapore,

It's a pity that mit doesnt focus in our market any more. My family has owned, is still owning mit cars and they hardly give us any trouble whether we bought them new or used. The have achieved much in the not so distant past in international rallies, niche markets (SUVs).

I read recently they will be focusing in green car etc even in global markets. Spg is not exactly a place for such cars given the rules and lip-service our govt is dealing with green vehicles.

First time saw this type of car - Mit Attrage - in an HDB carpark , MY plate.

MITSUBISHI-Attrage-4865_20.jpg

Attrage is a new nameplate for the Mirage, I think. But MY reviews seem to say it's not that horrible, unlike the Mirage...

Main competition in our market is Hyundai Accent, Chevrolet Sonic, Honda City (maybe... I think City's a bit bigger) etc. - subcompact sedans that are as close to $99k as possible.

Unfortunately, that said, I would choose the Sonic over the Attrage if I was shopping in that segment...

Attrage? More like Outrage! :D

Honestly, the rear and overall shape look worse than the old Korean cars. Not talking about the new ones, which actually look decent, but the bad old days.

Mitsu truly has lost the plot.

The look not nice leh. But previously the Lancer was very nice until Kia Forte came out. But now the K3 also loose shine to Altis also.

Hopefully Mitsubishi can come out more models.
