yes bro, some people have got deeper pockets than others and willing to share, that is commendable. I also have customers who do not have deep pockets but also willing to contribute as well! That is heart warming. I have a student who came down to donate 1 bag, sometimes character and kindness cannot be measured in terms of money or contribution but it can be felt and sensed =)

And any closing deadline for the donation? Till end July ? :)

thank you for your monetary contribution as well as your muscle power! We will have a total of 5 check points for this convoy (Pls see attached picture)

Tentatively, the "fall-in" time will be at 0730 hrs at my shop on National Day. In addition, we should be able to hit 9000kg of rice or 360 bags. Therefore, the average number of bags a car will carry is about 10 bags or 250kg. FYI.

Yes, i will need to have a deadline. It will probably be 30 June 2014. I have about another 3 tonnes of rice pledged, but contributions yet collected.

Yes 30 June. If not there's no end. As it is, our target of 6000kg has been hit, and already there are many more bros who have pledged. In total, there are 80 bags worth of contribution which I will be collecting this week!
