heng, someone donated 2 bags too..

so i'm not the only one.

anyway after this exercise, do you guys wanna conduct another.

Heard of Madam wong shelter? it's located somewhere in pasir ris, basically it house unwanted dogs and cats.

sometime you can find abused animals in there..

they are always in need of rice and funds as the owner, Madam wong is really a Samaritan. She sold away her flat to save these animals.

the least we could do, is to help.

dogs/cats unlike human, they don't need to eat such quality rice. the last time i bought was 25kg for around $30

it just a suggestion.

yup, babyt already answered you.

plus rice is a cheaper alternative compare to dog food..

pay a visit to madam wong shelter, you will know how much rice they actually need to feed the animals.

Hi Kurty,

thank you for pointing this out here. From the looks of the progress, we will hit our target very soon and should have excess funds to purchase more. I will contact Madam Wong and find out how much rice is needed per month and will do our best to get those furry friends rice to eat as well! I'm a dog lover myself :)

Hi there Kurty,

this afternoon, i went to Madam Wong's Shelter and a volunteer pointed Mdm Wong out to me. We had a short conversation and I learnt that she has about 80+ dogs there and 200+ cats. She welcomed any sort of donations but rice is something which she is not short in supply. She said that there are donors who donate rice for the pups, the cats however, are the ones that receive much less donations.

I got from her the supplier's number. Once I have collected the funds and get the agreement of the donors, I will apportion some of the funds to get both dogs and cats food. Since this project is a once a year thing, I don't see why we can't extend our help to Madam Wong as well who is there at the shelter 365 days a year. Attached is a picture of Mdm Wong and myself this afternoon.
