Very fresh and heartening to see this on a Sunday morning :)

 

A lot of our ppl depend on SMRT to travel from one place to another. With the increase in population due to foreigners, overcrowding is inevitable.

 

They just increase in the renewal of new trains, and reduce the frequency gap. But, these can only do so much.

 

The root of the problem is still the huge influx of foreigners.

If we can't solve this problem by reducing the nos of FT, we will always see overcrowding problems.

 

Poor Singaporeans, we always bear the brunt :(

Don't expect improvement from new trains & increased frequency. These are for the coming future to cater to population of 6.9 million. Surely gov not doing the improvement only when population reaches that target. By then it will be too late
