The_Bear Turbocharged May 14, 2014 Share May 14, 2014 Do we need SMRT and NTUC to bring us another mall with all the same tenants all over again? Why did we privatize SMRT in the first place? To bring us another run of mill mall that we see from Capital and Fraser's in all HDB estates? And NTUC, wtf are they even doing getting involved in all these? Aren't they a worker's union? Hello? Anyone home?

To bring us another run of mill mall that we see from Capital and Fraser's in all HDB estates? And NTUC, wtf are they even doing getting involved in all these? Aren't they a worker's union? Hello? Anyone home? NTUC Mission Statement : It was during the economic and social turmoil of the 1970s that the idea of a co-operative supermarket was conceived. The global oil crisis in 1973 had led to fears of food shortage. To curb profiteering, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), in consultation with the Government, set up “NTUC Welcome Supermarket” to ensure that essential items were made available to Singaporeans at affordable prices. That was NTUC FairPrice’s first supermarket, opened in 1973. Now they just join in the Money Train...

Matoonia 6th Gear May 15, 2014 Share May 15, 2014 Hoping that this new mall is really Sports Theme, instead of just another shopping mall. But with NTUC, H&M, Uniqlo, Harvey Norman it's gg to be difficult. If really serious about sports theme, then it should be something like a bigger scale Queensway shopping centre. Have tenants like Decathlon, Leong Seng Sports etc .Focus not only on soccer but a sports megamart, includ ulu sports like Softball, TKD, etc
