A student branded a "public enemy" after videos of him allegedly driving recklessly appeared online was charged in court on Wednesday.

Quek Zhen Hao was accused of two counts of driving in a rash manner and one of displaying threatening behaviour towards a female motorist.

The 24-year-old allegedly got out of his Civic Honda at a junction and approached Ms Goh Siok Ling with the intention of causing her alarm and distress.

Minutes later he allegedly allegedly swerved his vehicle in front of her and cut into her path without signalling before applying his brakes three times, forcing her to brake hard to avoid a collision on Petir Road and Dairy Farm Road.
