a reminder for all......

dont trust the turn right signal, rather trust your own eyes and judgement of oncoming vehicles.

Especially taxis......

i travel that road very often....its a very dangerous road..... very hard to see oncoming veh bcos a lots of vehs turn right....

Sally which taxi company taxi bang ur car. As not all taxi are equipped with car cam. This would also help fellow member to recall the accident, an eye witness is equally good as video Any bro knows if that junction has a j eye. As that would be ur best bet to seek justice. Wish u luck and please keep us updated.

If the taxi drive deleted the video footage, all the more he's suspicious and not to mention guilty. Deleting the footage doesn't make him innocent.

Tell your insurance company not to let the fellow claim. Worst scenario is go court settle. See whether he got the balls to lie to a judge.

wonder how come the passengers in your car still so relax, especially the rear seat passenger still play hand phone even if the rear door was so badly impacted [:p]

May the door is jammed and so the rear passenger can't get out...

Whether he's willing to lie will be the big question right?

But lack of video alone isn't enough to absolve TS of blame - you can't assign guilt just on that basis (no matter how suspicious it looks)

lie to judge.. no problem.. .judges also human.. will see the face of the defendant and accused.

just act pitiful and honest looking. her word against taxi driver word.

lawyers play that game with judges..they know which judge is emo and which judge is by the book.

Reminder to ALL : When come to accident, 1st thing is to call 995 to complain pain here and there.

Whether u are injured or not, just call them and let the mata handle the suitation with the driver statement.

Take note : Be prepare, u may lost demerit point.

Dont blame me for using this way...i have to protect my own insurance claim and NCD

tot I read somewhere they cannot alter the video from the camera?

TD are a cunning bunch.... Read in MCF that 1 guy leave his engine running to let the video overwrite. They are smart especially in accident claims. They are the pro

He doesn't need to purposely delete the footage. Just don't remove the SD card and it will be overwritten already. The camera they supplied doesn't seem to have those G-sensors to save the footage when it detects an impact. With the amount of mileage a taxi driver gets in a day, the footage most likely overwritten long ago.

Plus he go back on his words means he probably got the evidence removed already and got other advice on how to make his statement. Usually when taxi drivers have accident you'll see them all discuss about how to report when they are taking a break at the coffeeshop.

Neutral Newbie

Hi Radx,

I am unable to create a new post so, I am adding onto this thread to appeal for witness to an accident my father in law's swift and a funeral parlour van. Here are the details of the accident.

Date: Wednesday 30th July 2014

Time: 735-930 am

Location: intersection AMK ave 1 & Li Hwan dr

Vehicle: Suzuki swift & mercedes Vito

The driver allegedly beat the red light when my FIL was making a turn into Tai hwan Dr. Initially he apologized but later on he said he was late and rushed off from the scene.

If any car forumer happens to have a video or were in the vicinity during that time of tge accident please contact me or pm me.

Your help is very much appreciated.
