Got my V40 D2 for more than a week now, thinking of installing a drive cam (preferably front & rear). Any recommendations? Heard the Korean brands are pretty good....thanks in advanced! [:)]

Someone just made a 1 cent size dent on my car side. Anyone have experience in getting it fixed in Wearnes Service centre and cost how much?

Go find Lye Design, he will be cheaper than Wearnes. I'm assuming that this a car door "ding" and not the dent caused by another car pushing into your door?

Out of curiosity, what the heck did you park next to? wowo doors tend to be quite solid.

Yes they do an excellent job on my previous ride when a cyclist who rode across a red-light left a buttock side dent on my bonnet.

It's actually cheaper per dink if you choose to accumulate more and do them at a single visit [;)]

In MSCP, I suspect it is caused by lorry. The dent appears to be near the upper side infront of the side window. So unfortunate.

Neutral Newbie

Hi all, sorry I know i'm late to this party, this thread seems to have been active couple months back, but just found it today. Learned alot of very useful info on the diesel engine, consumption etc here, thank you very much.

I booked my v40 CC d2 recently and hoping to hear feedback from current v40 owners; do you find the ride height is quite low? I'm currently driving an SUV and love the height advantage, but so far any users moved from an SUV to a v40 CC and how has your experience been with the ride height transition?

the cross country version looks really nice, not a common sight on the roads. In fact i was debating between it and an Audi A3. I know everyone says an audi is the wiser choice for resale etc, but there's just this something about the v40 . I reckon current owners can share their experiences

thank you and have a good day

I took a look at the A3 and the empty interior did not impress me. Gadgets are my cup of tea. And I got comments that it was silly to go for the V40 cc instead of the Audi at the same price range.

Remember one man's food is another man's poison. So follow your own judgement.

was quite disturbed that for an asking price of $145K, the V40 D2 doesn't even come with retractable side mirrors...

Eyke, maybe you can contact my SE Claire, mention my name Joe and she could give you a better price and package. I got my v40 D2 in Sep 14 and it comes with Rike Cool solar film, retractable side mirror, full TFT screen and daytime running lights at an additonal cost of $5k totalling $137k with COE at $60k.
