Ok..... manage to find a link on the OMV/ARF......

http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/writeup.php?AID=13

based on Toledo earlier tread info....

T2 OMV = 20K..... ARF = (20K x 1.0) + (2.6 x 1.4) = 23.64K

PARF@10years later = 23.64K x 0.5 = 11.82K

Depreciation.....

(130K - 11.82K) / 10yrs = $11818 per year or $984.83 per month

D4 OMV = 30K..... ARF = (20K x 1.0) + (10K x 1.4) = 34K

PARF@10years later = 34K x 0.5 = 17K

Depreciation.....

(158K - 17K) / 10yrs = $14100 per year or $1175 per month

I thot the PARF for diesel car is calculate in a different way?

50% is for petrol

What about V40 D2 and V40 CC d2?

event cars for s80 and s60 are still available and look attractive

I just tested both V40 T2 and S60 D4 (just launched) yesterday.

V40 T2 engine is very responsive, the torque is very useful.

S60 D4 specs are 2ltr diesel, 190 bhp and 400 Nm.  0-100 7.6s.

Was considering either one, but in the end i booked the D4.  The D4 is quite high specs, same as T5. the spec sheets for D4 wasn't out yet as of yesterday.  i'm a current wowo owner so i had some gd deals yesterday.

yesterday's nett nett price  : V40 T2 - $130k for 1st 10 units. thereafter $135k. S60 D4 $158k.  S60 T5 $166k.

The selling price includes a confusing CEVS rebate component that is not in your calculation.

Adding it in will reduce your PARF value, hence increasing the depreciation.

If there is no CEVS, the selling price will be more than higher of the reduced PARF value

The 149.99k is S60 D2 management car.  buyer will be 2nd owner.

Interesting. The advertisement say it is all new launch price with dollar for dollar COE rebate. Sounds like a new car needing COE bidding.

should just go down to test drive the D4.

0-100 in 7.6s. mid range torque is very good. 8 speed gearbox smooth.
