Hi all,

I read the posts so far and it seems like a lot of guys here had issues with booking a V40 just like me. Maybe I was lucky to get a more responsible SE who manage somehow to uphold the deal. Also there was a pleasant surprise of LTA not requiring re-homologation of the new batch so I managed to take deliver of my ride in the 2nd week of Aug, I guess I was very fortunate to collect my ride within a month of order.

Opted for the CC model as the gadgets and the moonroof was what attracted me to it, nevermind it commands quite a premium over the base model. The D2 engine does sound like a Taxi, but 270Nm of torque makes it effortless to pull away from a standing stop. A full tank takes me between 700 to 800km, absolutely brilliant considering I benchmarked it to my previous ride the Honda Fit which itself is a frugal ride.

Other than a blown fuse that was replaced within 10minutes, I am enjoying my ride. As well as getting used to less frequent visits to the Petrol (should I say Diesel) Station.

Hmm... I am getting more than 1000km for my S60. Extremely pleased with the frugal fuel consumption

1000+km for 60L of fuel?

Works out to be about 16-17km/L or 47mpg or ~6L/100km

Impressive.

Hi all,

Please forgive my ignorance. I am interested in the V40 Diesel, but am confused of the real pricing and availability of the base model. Appreciate if anybody can share the latest pricing (with guarantee and non-guarantee COE).

Thanks,

Andy

The best is to contact the AD.

Any price from previous buyer might not be the latest .

Went down to the showroom 2days ago. Saw that the price for tha base model was $130k for 6 bids non guaranteed Coe.

The lowest price was $119,999, of which none of the buyers were successful in their bids. Those who topped up to $125k got their cars.

Are you saying that the diesel engine sound can be heard inside cabin with doors & windows closed?
