the most disadvantage things for 8650BT is about song management.

 

it's very disappointed that this HU didn't have any favorite song option on the main play zoom.

I updated my firmware to 1.06 and now I’m having issue with Bluetooth Media Audio. In order for me to connect with Media Audio , I need to clear the Bluetooth memory from the HU and pair it again. As such media audio will work, but if I turn off the engine, then start the engine... I need to do the same process again.

 

No issue observed in phone audio as it automatically connect every time I turn the HU on. Done multiple reset to factory but still the same.

 

Someone here having the same issue? Any advice please

Let try this

 

1. Restart your phone, if not OK, then try another phone.

2. If 1 useless, then try re-upgrade firmware and do reset all setting to factory right after upgrade

Tried #1 with another phone and I got the same behavior.

I will try to re-upgrade soon to see if it will work.

i have 1.08 and i don't have any problem with audio bluetooth

Where did you downloaded version 1.08?, in Pioneer Australia only 1.06 is available for download.

Hmm..

This version 1.08 is release in 2014 , far before IOS 8.13 release ..

 

U brought the set from local , I brought it on sept 2014, but is version 1.05...

 

Also got no courage to install..

yes, me too.

it is very unstable. and 8.4 is same.

 

it's not about iphone, i think the HU must update firmware for remove this bug.

carplay is very stable for me.

 

it helps if you guys state what "instability" you are experiencing as i'm pretty much using car play all the time and not the pioneer os, nor appradio live, etc.
