Mitsubishi Outlander

Hey guys.. I know it's not a direct fair comparison, but I was wondering if anyone tried the Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 to compare with the Hyundai Tucson 1.6T?

Both fuel consumption is 7.2L/100km (on paper). MO (7 airbags) is $2K cheaper than HT (2 airbags version). Not considering road tax difference, if you guys have test drive the Outlander, how did it feel for you?

I test drove both few weeks ago, both seems quite smooth and good to me. Am more concerned about the overall maintenance and issues.

Thanks all!

HT is a totally new model and the interior is definitely more updated.  i think key question is whether is you need the occasional 7 seat which MO offers. if you need the 7seat, Xtrial is another alternative to consider.

outlandish [confused]

Mitsubishi has 3 recalls in the past 6 mths, same as Honda, while Toyota & Mercedes have 6 each, according to the recall website (LTA)

maybe i used the wrong website?

same model meh? the 6 recalls for merc n toy are for a variety of models isnt it?

Did a test drive on Sunday and find it ok. What I like is the sound proofing and the flexible 3rd roll seat  [:p]

At S$107,999, it is considered a good ride.

Personally, I also feel that Mitsubishi Outlander is the best Value-for-$$ 7 seater MIJ SUV at it's current pricing.

Conisdering between Outlander and Noah... but Outlander stock only arrive in Aug... if COE drop after July maybe price will drop further?

I personally like the outlander.

2 litre for a massive car like this.

Why not?

Good for Singapore context.

Just drive leisurely.

Interior after a while all feel the same. Trust me.

Price to price comparison only thing you can get at toyota showroom for 107k is 1.2litre CHR which is really a far cry from the 2 litre outlander.I think outlander is a car you can seriously consider.

Must say that Elegance at 107999 is very attractive indeed. But stock only arriving end Aug. Sports at 113999 is arriving end July. I am also considering Noah X petrol at 3K more but OMV is about 5K higher and can get the car by this month... tough choices...

Test drive the 2.0 Outlander. 3rd row really too cramp. And not for those taller than 1.7m.

Must slightly floor to pick up due to the weight and non turbo, car is very stable.

But overall, at $107k, MIJ, 2.0L and 7 seaters, no complains.
