Welcome to the family! I can see we all have good feedback on this car.

So its not bull, and I am not a SE. :)

Pls PM me personally, I am thinking of consolidating a list and create a FB group/page for all the outlander Bros. Share/trade stuffs on this wonderful car.

Hi Bwilly,

I feel that you should go and create a Facebook group, i m sure that the outlander owner here will go and register there.

So far i do like the new car very much. However, the main problem that I am facing now is when clearing Singapore Tuas Checkpoint counter and passing the last counter before moving off to the main road toward JB.

I feel that the lane is abit narrow for most SUV, and almost rub the car back rim against the curb.

I think it will take time for driver like me (first time drive SUV) to get used to the car size.

So next time if u see a Outlander go abit slow at Tuas Checkpoint, maybe that is me. ha....

I dont thiink I have front sensor. Not too sure, haha..

Cause we can see if we are going to hit something. Not useful since when we do front usually is at higheer speed. The sensor will be distraction, and sound too late to be of any use.

What I can suggest if you are worry when parking, on the lights. Gauge how near and focus/intense

the headlight shines on the car/wall in front, and judge how much more you can move.

This helps when you move up/down spiral carpark that makes you want to faint after more than 30secs inside.

I think you have reserve sensor and cam right? Should be fine.

I do not have much confidence parking on parallel as much as I have on my Wish.

I used to able to park on slope, parallel at Scotts Road (old office), on a manual car, pull hand brake, all sort of pattern on a busy road. Either left or right side of the road. That is my old Nissan Sunny B13.

After awhile changing to Wish, I have no problem too, even with the sensors and rear camera for Wish.

But there is no brake assist, (hand brake was better than but I dont have third leg for brake, you should know when parking parallel on a steep slope) so it was abit challenge, and also moving off.

Now trying to park more parallel, either the size (car) too big, I dont parallel park really nice with thiis car.

But dont find need to get a front sensor. The wheels and height is high, so usually I can park all the way in, without worry the body kit or whatever scrap the curb.

I am not too sure. You may need to lower the profile for the 55 to 45.

Comfort level may compromise alot. Suggest you let the tyre run its life.

The FC is now already 9km/L or so, for a light foot me.

If you getting 7-8km/L, 19 may get you a measy 6km/L.. :(

When i driving the car for the first day I do face the same issue. You may want to follow my steps below to make it more easlier to park the car:

1. Buy a pair of blind spot mirror for side mirror

2. adjust both blind spot mirror to focus on both side of the car.

3. when reverse or parallel parking, just also need to check the blind spot mirror to see you have park the car properly.

So far this do help in my parking with the Outlander.

Hope that the above can help your issue too.

2016 Mitsubishi Outlander at New York Auto Show.

For the new design front look, I still prefer previous design that currently

We are driving.

Totally agree.

The currently design is not that aggressive. The first time i went to the showroom and view this car, I also not very impress by the looks on first sight. However, after staying there for a while and stand back looking at it, i started to find that it is quite classy.

i actually went to the showroom three times, before finally decided to buy the car.

So far not regretting the decision to own this car (even though it may not be that sporty looks).

Created a group call Misubishi Outlander Singapore.

Please join.

I do also have issue clearing some exit points from certain carpark.

Used to be able to clear without stopping after clearing the gantry, but now at certain points at my office carpark or causeway point, I have to see both side mirrors to ensure I can do that.

I did rub my wheels 2-3 times so far. Get those rim protectors, it will helps. I got it and paste it on my four rims, its in red.
