Currently driving MPV..want to try soemthign different...dun ask me to go back to sedan car, not use to small car laio...

if off road is not a priority, AWD is not necessary,

compare to CRV, Harrier wins on space, safety, high vison,

con is FC high,

pity , they din think of incorporating Mitsu evo X turbo engine and her dual clutch gb into outlander..should be a good seller and a big contender to forester

Better check with ad using what engine.

4b12 or 4j12. The 4bxx engines are from former evo x, 2.4 outlander etc.

4jxx series is the newer ones using same former 4bxx engine platform but they tweak the valves, lift springs, sleeve jackets etc (if i am not wrong).

New 3rd gen outlander have lane departure warning, 7 airbags, forward collision warning (or breaking system) just to name afew.

The seats at 3rd row is definately better than the former 2nd gen but no more twin flap hatch doors at rear which i find them handy for picnics.

Imho, many things were carried over from the pervious 2nd gen.

 

For the price, i would say rather worth it. But have to see the omv and freebies. And please... No cevs rebates hor, arbo end of 10 yrs die kokz stand.

if they bring in the SST tranny.... The price will surely deter more people from buying.

How many REAL Evo Wagons did we see last time?

In sg, good and reasonably priced car becum exotic car.

There is no logic to it.

My friends from other countries was shocked to know how much to own and have a car in sg!

I was there over the weekend. Price given was 136k with overtrade. Ask for the price list. 136k is 9k off listed selling price of 145k.

how can reasonable,

100% expressway maybe 12km/L,

in SG road 7 seat SUV FC can achive 7 to 8km/L is decent,

anyway if you very concern FC, forget SUV

standard SUV FC is ard 7km ~ 8km per L..

i managed to get 8.5km/L from my Sorento GDI...

 

if concerns poor FC then can forget SUV, maybe MPV :)

I note that SUVs do not have the best FC, but I was wondering if anyone is driving the new outlander (or a previous version) and can advise on the actual FC for Singapore usage.

if you are light right foot with 50:50 urban/highway pattern,

the best FC should be around 7~8km/L

i owned the previous outlander for 5.5yrs. Avg fc less than 8km/L
