Honker 2nd Gear August 4, 2015 Share August 4, 2015 Any reviews on cartimes, leco auto & abwin? I did my research online before buying from Hup Long. I also did research on the company u mentioned. CarTimes seems to be a good choice too. My reservist fren signed with Leco during May but hasn't gotten his car yet, I didn't ask him whats the terms on the contract he agreed with them so I can comment on Leco just yet. For Abwin, I didn't do any research at all, so cant comment too, haha. Good luck to your car hunting venture! ↡ Advertisement
Sean73 1st Gear August 4, 2015 Share August 4, 2015 Wanna buy from a PI? Do check this FB group that is not MODERATED by any PI, no point to join a FB Group set up by a PI and delete all honest comments about their practice and barred you from the group to make it look like all is well. https://www.facebook.com/groups/SGVezelHRVClub/?fref=nf and looking at the people that posts with their real FB profile instead of PI or SE hiding behind a fake profile and post wonderful stuffs about their own self.
Sean73 1st Gear August 4, 2015 Share August 4, 2015 Care to shed some light? I think some of us (including me) are considering JDM but still lack information their reliability. Sure lot of buyers will appreciate any inputs. Thanks I contacted them a few days ago and was quoted with COE rebate. So it's kind of a deal breaker hearing so many warning against any deals without rebates. Was wondering why so many got from Hup Long. Reputation? Package? Track record? New to the market but they seem to be many buyer's choice. Bro, Check this FB group that was set up by people that bought a Vezel and is not moderated by any PI or SE. No point to join a group that is moderated by a PI / SE and delete honest comment about their practice and even barred people from that group to make it looks so damm good :-) https://www.facebook.com/groups/SGVezelHRVClub/?fref=nf
Sean73 1st Gear August 4, 2015 Share August 4, 2015 Congrats Honker for the new car :P No offend please, jus my 2 cent. Priced 2-3k more and throw in iroad v7 which cost about $300 plus minus. Not forgetting no rebates... which in turns the PI will be laughing to the bank.... I think i should ask the boss "your shop is to sell or to rob" instead. And there is actually cheap(or would say reasonable) and good thing in buying car.. its just how much effort you put into before signing the SA and not from some bulls**t brainwashing PIs. Think i know which PI.. presumely quite well known.. very straight forward.. however no rebates turns me off..thou they guarantee delivery which i am sure they will since their profit is so much higher than the rest. But i rather be the buy "cheap" or i should say buy "reasonable" car from reasonable and reliable PIs. Honker since you say u book recently after your friend got his car at May, i presume you make your order on somewhere May to June. An estimation when quoted: Price of Vezel X 113k-117k est during time of June no rebates.. June's 1st coe was 66k 1) 113k - 66k= 47k car price 2) 113k - 61k= 52k 3) 113k - 58k= 55k 4) 113k - 55k= 58k By looking at above calculation, depend on which Coe you secured = to the car price that you are paying. It's not about "their price is $2k to $3k more" than other PIs but its at least 5k to 10k more ! I'm just sharing my thought n experience.. some people willing to pay more maybe for peace of mind..some might just wanna save a little bit more to lessen their loan... so it all comes with all individuals. In the end of the day.. just buy and be happy and enjoy the ride Very True, COE has dropped and will drop for the next coming bid too for a Cat A COE, What if it happens to increase again? Those that bought in Feb to May, how many have collected their vehicle before June while the COE was high? If you wanna take that risk and be without a car and you do not mind that your dealer just keep on delaying to BID for your COE and it makes you happy then enjoy your nightmares :-)
Sean73 1st Gear August 4, 2015 Share August 4, 2015 Hi, The reason why zion doesnt bid for coe 1st is I personally believe when the car not even here in sg and why we started bidding coe. True that u secure the coe bid at a cheap price . But what if the car come 6 to 7 mths later. Wun u lose out 6 mths of ur coe? Just my 2cents worth.. happen to a few vezel friends. Bid during feb.. car till date nt here yet. Patrick Bro, Your buying a mass market Japanese car and not a conti car, you do not need to wait that long to get your car. 3 to 4 months is more than sufficient to drive off with your car unless it's a new model that LTA wants to do the MTO test. COE for cat A and B must be used within 06 months from the day of securing, your COE would only starts to depreciate once you register your vehicle. lach90 1st Gear August 4, 2015 Share August 4, 2015 Lach, I got mine from HL too. Got my car in 22 days. they gave me V7 iroad cam, leather seat, pioneer dvd bt, 3 years warranty, 6 months road tax and such..... I paid 2k more for 1 month delivery and they exceeded my expectations. Now im thinking whether I should install bodykit, getting poisoned by all the online forum photos of Vezel w bodykit! Anyway, my SE quite steady, he is very prompt in replying all my msgs when I was in doubt so I will definitely recommend HL and this SE. Extra money for assurance and service attitude, it was all well worthed it. That's a really good package IMO. I'll PM you to get the name of the SE ! happy_honda 1st Gear August 4, 2015 Share August 4, 2015 I booked from them End May, collecting this weekend. Pros: No worry about delivery, got stock even. Fast response from SE, no pushing Cons: Very stiff price and freebies. Charge "GST" for head unit upgrade (really sucks) So if you want your Vezel as soon as possible, go for them. If you can wait, there are also other reliable PIs around with much lower price Seems like Hup Long have great reviews by many. Definitely shortlisting them. My last question is probably what is the standard package I should request? E.g. 3 years warranty, 2 years services, road tax, pioneer HU, camera etc .... Any bros care to share what their PI offered with their purchase? It will be better if its with Hup Long ! I got a good feeling they will be my choice
