My situation is that it is my first car (am more of a 2 wheeler) but for family purposes would be great to have car. I am no hurry to get a car and was thinking of locking in COE at $51K and then let PI bid till $51K is reached and if not, too bad, stick with motorbike. I can put down up to $40K for 6 months, not an issue but want my money back if no car. If based on $51K CEO, can I expect the Vezel X to be at $100K total? Since OMV is around $24K and CEV rebate $10K. Correct me if I am wrong. He book during CNY, 6 Bids Gurt COE..until now the PI only only placed 1 bid for him in Feb..after that earthquake happen... shipment is delay, delay, more delay... PI tell him no point bidding as car not here yet.....he want to cancel the contract, PI said contract stated 6 bids..if he pullout now, means breaking the contract...wahhhh Lesson from here....stated the "start and end date" of the 6 bids in the contract ...if not, 6 bids can be 6 months or 6 years long..... the PI in the hot seat now delay 7-8 bids. previously bid for show to my friends only, following bid didn't bid. if had bidded following one at same price, wud have gotten. now sitting on 8k paper loss. I looked at Vezel before 6 months ago and I believe that time OMV for X model was about $23K, G = $20K. With OMV stated below it should definitely be possible to get the Car alone for $49K, maybe less. If you would like to bid for your COE, suggest you go to a dealer who will agree to sell you the car w/o coe before you bid. Given that you will get your coe w/o car body, chances are some dealers will not give you priority, and you won't want to be stuck in a situation with a coe (which expires in 6 months), and no dealer who will sell you your car. Also becos COE is coming off anyway so no rush. Looking for a reliable House that can take in my wife's Sep 2008 Mazda 2 at fair price and choot a black or blue Vezel, with genuine leather seats and V-cool and sunroof? Also pay full cash or if worse come to worse, minimum loan over minimum tenure. Steady...... dont bother to wait. 2 weeks ago i asked autolink @ ubi, if i book now, the stock will only be delivered late nov, early dec. so January 2016 is about time. after having a bad experience with a PI (those who have been following will know which PI im talking about), i went to buy a brand new mazda from eurokars.... Vezel is hot and supply is very limited for now. depending on which situation you are in, you have to be on the correct side, else you wil lose more than gain. Thanks Bro. rstopel 1st Gear July 27, 2015 Share July 27, 2015 I was at Jack Cars today and was advised to get COE first cos if you book car and you fail to get COE in 6 months then lose deposit for car which makes sense to me. I believe getting a car without COE shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, Jack car having promo. Slightly below $107K for X model with current COE. Details I dun know. Their 'body' price only is about $53K but should be negotiable. OMV for Vezel X now around $18K. Anyone seen this website. Buy directly from Japan.
