On the contrary no, but that is what the pi may tell you when you sell...but in actual fact we know it commands gd value because of popularity and reliability..like civic...plenty of them too but gd resale...give you another example...renault megane for example not many...but yet resale sucks...

You can take out the skirtings and spray whatever colour you like bro.

I saw auntie driving exactly same look also.. and not 1 but a few exactly similar so i was just asking.. thanks :)

hybrid version bumpers all colour tone.

more supply...lower price...just like COE isnt it? :DD hahahaha

Tail light same as normal Vezel..

Hybrid vezel tail light different...

Saw and sat the ASX. Dun need to test. Looking at the specs, underpowered for 2L. Sat in showroom, everywhere too small for me. Only just fitting..so forgo...however due to curiosity, i shall give it a test drive.

For now i tried mitsu, toyota and honda. Honda drives the best.

Turbocharged

Here is an update on the bicycle loading capacity inside the Vezel. This means that you do not need to load the bikes above on the roof or outside the car.

- It's capable of fitting in 1 non folded 20 inch kids MTB and 1 folded 20 inch adult bicycle. only 1 seat in 2nd row folded down. other 2nd row seat remain up to seat 1 adult and 1 child or 2 children. front row seats driver and one adult. total of 4 passengers + 2 bicycles. This is good enough for me.

- I managed to put in 1 non foldable Raleigh Rowdy 20 inch kids mountain bike ( folding the 2nd row back seat behind the driver down flat) plus one 20 inch folded Vert bicycle in standing position and secured with bicycle rope hooks to the headrest of the remaining 2nd row seats that are not folded.

so... an adult regular size bicycle, probably cannot make it?

To answer 7hm question :

adult regular size bicycle can fit, provided that its

1) front wheel can be taken out for wheel size 24 inch and above, as shown in link below :

- probably won't fit if you have a 26 inch MTB that is not foldable.

And reply to Vinzntonic :

- I did not use the bike stand part as shown in link above.

- Thought I would improvised with another Bike L stand that will meet my needs in this case.

My little experiment ( damage is $20-30 ) used

1) Bike L stand ($15) to stabilize the standing 20 inch kids MTB and secured with bicycle ropes ($5-15) to the front driver seat's headrest poles. one of the wheels can be further secured to the foldie in the boot area.

- the L stand is placed at location marked X (A) in the second picture - Top View BLOCK Diagram.

2) standing 20 inch folded adult bicycle right behind the back row pax seat 3 & 4 and similarly secured by bicycle ropes to the head rest of the 2nd row seat and going through the wheels of the foldie to prevent it from moving when car makes a turn on the road.

3) some small space is also left in boot area to place helmets and water bottles - can be put in small rectangular box to prevent rolling about

Supercharged

bros, how much is the vezel hybrid retailing? seems like it has much more decent power and torque numbers......quite keen to try it out.

any PI allows test drive?

too much money at stake, do choose properly which PI you go are going with. price is not everything. oh yeah you can lose all your money if you are not careful. yes this is singapore trust me it happens.

Try to negotiate with PI that you will do your own COE bidding.

Buy the car body from them. car booking fee $5k?

This way, you minimise your risk of losing your COE $$ and you can dictate how much to bid without relying on them to hold back your bidding.

That is my tactic too but i think better to bid COE first and then go shopping for car once you have your COE in hand.

That way can look for dealer with ready stock of your colour choice and I think you will be able to drive a better discount as it will be a very fast deal for them. Arrange loan & insurance, register car and handover all can be done in 2-3 days. There are many PI out there.....

Hi!

am new to buying brand new cars and hope bros and sis can help with this.

Is it that anything below the COE rebate during the bidding session means the PI will refund? Example COE rebate is $50k means if PI secure COE at $45k, I get a rebate of $5k?

more imptly have you gotten your coe n at wat price

A gentle reminder to all would be buyers of Vezels from PI, please seriously note that having cars already in the showroom does NOT mean anything, and it should not be a push factor to choose that dealer. Please focus on your actual deal's Terms & Conditions & Fine Print.
If you don't already know, a few fellow Vezelians have lost in excess of 8k or more in paper value of their cars upfront, which entered the PI's cash register ka-ching ka-ching as full profit. i.e you could have paid 8k less because they were not familiar with negotiating on COE rebate levels. As such, if you lose 8k or more in paper value, it makes no difference in buying from Kah Motors even though KM brings HRV with inferior built and an older engine. That is from a financial standpoint.

Remember! Go For High COE rebate Deals!
Cat A last close 58.7k
Cat B last close 65.5k

3k COE rebate deals below the above COE listings IMO is fair.
I don't want to promote AD but fyi, KM is offering 56k rebate and negotiable.
Remember don't fall for gimmicks! Tonnes of dealers out there to choose from, they're improved versions are all on the way, find a great deal COE now on its way down anyway, all the best!

Happy Sunday everybody!!

Im interested in this car,but have never owned a Honda nor went thru a PI before.Anyone here can intro me to a reliable PI?

Realised Kah Motors has a similar looking car called HR-V,is it the same car? But price difference a lot.

It is as not as simple as you think. If you do not have a firmed price on the car body + accessories, warranties ...etc and you secured your coe, you will be at the mercy of PI.

Why? your TCOE is valid for 6 months. PI can put a high car price and you lan lan must buy. else lose $10K when TCOE expires.

There are many PIs around and their reputation is very important. If they try to be funny, the whole market will know. Go around and shop and ask for the price of body and body and coe and you will be able to get car body at the market price plus the coe price that you are comfortable with which you bid yourself.

If you were only interested in one car model that is only brought in by one AD then I might agree with you. But for a common car like a Vezel you are not at the mercy of the PI at all. If you don't like the pricing from one showroom just walk out and walk in to the next one.. Last time I looked there are something like 50 importers of Vezels, some of them even quote the car price without COE on sgcarmart

But of course, if you ask them, they will try and persuade you that it is better for them to do the COE bidding for you, but that is only because they want to manipulate the process. Basically there is a timelag between booking the car and the need for them to obtain your COE and with prices dropping, by getting you to pay the current market price for the car and then getting your COE 2 or 3 months in the future, most of the savings in COE cost ends up in their pocket not yours, even though you can attempt to limit the damage by negotiating as a high a rebate level as possible, there is still a few thousand dollars "fat" in the deal that they wiill cream off..
