HRV is assembled in Thailand, where the locally sourced Thai parts ( except engine and gearbox) are supposed to be cheaper, but the savings are not passed on to the consumer. Also they have 2 major manufacturing plants in Indo and Thai. no point if they have such manufacturing plants and they dun sell vehicles made there.. alot of things way beyond our understanding and control. At least as consumers we have the choice that the Japan model is brought in and also ppl who prefer the AD model.. Of cus it would be pleasing for us to get the Vezel model from KM, but consider the facts, PIs are a smaller firm, smaller profit margin, smaller headcount. ADs have staffs all over asia, SEA, etc. headcount higher, profit margin definitely need to be higher... Just to make it clear, i'm not from AD nor am i support of HRV, i'm a die hard VEZEL fan. and i can't wait to start shopping for it soon... VICOM?
