hi all, been following this forum for the longest time. read all 139 pages diligently. made my purchase and finally collected my car today!!! I realized that there's a serious shortage of female driver in this forum.. I'm going to give my review of the car.. from a female POV!

 

firstly.. I was very worried about the car height. will I have blind spots? the height is good.. easy to get in and out.. haha!! takes some getting used to.. but so far have not mount or striked kerb yet. that's a good sign...

 

second worry, the CBTA. I read about some bros getting stuck at the carpark gantry. so I made sure I steered clear of the gantry. CBTA warned me once but I didn't go close enough for it to ebrake. good too.

 

3rd worry, the start stop function will wear out my car. oh it's very easy to turn off. no worries. when there's a jam, turn it off.

 

lastly, the technology is too much to comprehend. no! the car is super user friendly. by the time I drove it home I understood everything. no need for a manual.. my PI ran through once patiently with me, and I got it all. after driving a Hyundai for years, this car is better than going to spa plus a massage. everything is within reach, everything is thought of. driving is not like driving. U don't even need to work hard to get it moving. oh and one added bonus. it doesn't roll back on slopes. (what sorcery is this right?? no more kayuness moving off on slopes!) and... there's a hold assist or brake hold whatever u call it. basically if u need to get out of ur car, LIKE.. when u stop too far away from the carpark exit booth and this backward carpark needs u to INSERT CASHCARD. nightmare right? gotta engage P and handbrake blah blah. this brake assist just press a button leave it in D and get out of ur car. no problem!

 

I noticed a lot of people sharing their car pics after collection. I will too! I'm new to this.. not sure if the pics will upload but wth I will try. and I dunno how to add my name to ur list of collected cars.. so anyway if any bros wanna do it u can. mine is vezel X, white, Hup long. booked my car end November, collected today 19th December. happy day! my PI is EXTREMELY AWESOME. I was worried after the volks auto saga.. bombed her phone at 1am and guess what.. she replied. when I'm fickle about my car leather colour.. she entertains me. (Ya leather seats very impt U know). anyway.. she's Nell fr Hup Long. Her mobile is 91811976! when getting from PI, it's about getting from someone u feel so comfortable with. talk to her and you know what I mean.

 

if the pics turn up here.. these are pics taken by nell and sent to me when my car was ready. I don't know how to censor my carplate so I shall leave the front pic out.. haha

I was all excited and also 'worry' at first with what you have described as being told by our bros here then.

Now my excitement and 'worry' are gone totally.

So sad. I did not get my delivery at all.

I was too naïve to believe that if my PI did not deliver, I would get a refund. pathetic eh? I am really out of luck.

Anyway, enjoy your ride and I hope you have many more good things to tell about it.

Dear all the Vezel's Cruise Control max out at 110km/h. Its nice to have this feature. My S model feel great at 120km/h and rpm at slight above 2000rpm in NSHW. The cabin is relative quiet at that speed too. The paddle shift also helps overtaking too with ease, down shift using paddle shift at D mode also help in engine brake going down slope. You feel more confident too. It is a great difference as compared to my previous Honda Airwave . Really enjoy it and quiet ride.

Wow ... 1 week. That is super duper fast. To do that, not only have stock but alri inspected & approved by LTA. What is your PI name?

I done the ceramic pro. Drove in the car in the morning around 8plus, drive out the car in the evening around 7plus.

Thought I'll give a short review of the PI I bought from. Because of the recent Volks Auto scam, I think people are more wary of buying from PI. And I hope this helps!

 

Booked the car from Ray (Hup Long). I did a lot of homework prior to the booking - made a few visits/calls to different PI and it was taxing. It was almost to a point of pekchek-ness even, imagine wasting time going down to a showroom to hear a different package from what they had introduced on the phone!! I almost made the booking with another PI but because of the COE 3k hike in Nov, they increased their price.

 

Ray was very patient and transparent and funny while we were in the showroom. Like the fact that he's organized and that gave me more assurance. Talked for 2 hours, beyond the showroom opening hours but he didn't pressure us to buying either.

 

Currently waiting for him to provide the BL & chassis number. Car is due for delivery in February. He told me about the Volks scam even before I read about it. So will definitely recommend him!

 

Now I just can't wait for the car to be delivered in February - current car coe expires in early Feb sigh :( Learnt a lot about the car from this forum (especially during the research phase), so thanks to all bros & sis here too!
