The Honda XR-V debuted today on the 2014 Chengdu Auto Show in China. The Honda XR-V is a Chinese-market variant of the Japanese Honda Vezel.

PS. I prefer Vezel look than this XR-V look [rolleyes]

Its nice bro!

The difference is that it is made in China, locally by Dongfeng-Honda,

Honda XR-V will have a choice of two petrol engines (1.5 or 1.8 litre),

Can i check, the dashboard configuration on the Speedo meter will this be in Japanese or can be changed to English? Cause really interested in this and Qashqai, but the price between this two car is 20k~! since the COE price increase recently.

Vezel has much smaller rear legroom/headroom compared to Qashqai or similar?

i think qashqai should have higher headroom as it is a slightly longer and bigger car

but the vezel has already very spacious legroom at the rear already

Vezel dimensions:

Height -1605 mm

outside length-: 4295 mm

, wheelbase:- 2610 mm

base curb weight: -1190 kg

Nissan Qashqai specs

Body height

-1606mm

Body length-

4377mm

Wheelbase-

2630mm

Curb weight: 1,360 kg

fule tank - 65 Liters

I'm about 1.7m tall. After adjusting the driver seat, I still find the rear seat pretty spacious and I can even cross my leg. For me the head room height is ok comparing to Subaru XV which I find quite low (no experience with Qashqai). I belief Qashqai boot is definitely bigger than Vezel.

Go try it out.

Dear all, I am 1.82m after I have shifted the driver seat all the way to the back, I tried the passenger seat behind and I feel that there is still ample space behind

Yes, lots of leg room for rear passenger.

BUT... ... ...

Recently noticed that getting on and off for rear passenger can be difficult.

Probably due to limited entry clearance caused by the rear wheel arc.

It is less of a problem if you can open the rear door fully, which can be a challenge considering tight parking space.

Hope the above comment won't turn potential buyers off [:p]

I am still very much in love with my Vezel btw... :D :D

Currently, averaging 14-15km/L in Eco mode.

Rush hour traffic, 15mins journey can take me 30-45mins [knife]

The eco mode seems to be adapting to my driving style.

Any bro can help to verify this?

Argaration...

Pump interval of 10days, about 32 litres each time.

Mileage: 450+/-.

Shell98. approx $70.00 after card discount.

The eco mode was rather sluggish initially but with continual usage, it feels different, i.e. more power.

This is based purely on my butt-feel, which prompts my earlier question on whether it really does adapt to my driving habits.
