There are a few ways to check for our scrap value. One is to login in and check our asset. this method is bit more effort.

only need to key in your vehicle number, NRIC and deregistration date.

lets say your vehicle registration date is 18112014. then key in 17112024 (which is your COE expiry date)

In the report, at the bottom that is the amount i get back.

 

Can any Vezel owner check and just let us know roughly how much is the scrap value?

My ride OMV is slightly lower than Vezel. Since there is no CEV rebate claim earlier on, my PARF is about half of OMV.

 

I believe for Vezel they will deduct a percentage of CEV rebate.

 

So I estimate Vezel scrap value (PARF) is between $5K to $7K only.

bro, not deduct a percentage of CEV, it's the whole CEV taken away from ur ARF. let's say ur OMV = 20k, ARF = 20k (100% for first 20k), CEV = 10k, so PARF = (ARF - CEV) x 50%

 

for > 20k OMV, say 25k, ARF = 20k + 5k x 140% (2nd tier ARF) = 29k, if CEV = 5k, then PARF = (29 - 5) x 50% = 12k.

 

correct if wrong.

Lets take this simple example. Assuming CEV is $10K

OMV =$20K

CEV =$10K

ARF =100% of OMV

PARF=50% of ARF

 

ARF after deducting rebate, OMV-CEV rebate = $20K-$10K = $10K

PARF = $5K This is what we get.

 

 

 

best is, no need guessing game. If any Vezel owner can check that would be much appreciated.
