I tested drive (my wife actually, I am just sitting at the back) both the FWD and AWD S-Cross. The power of this car is the reason that we ultimately drop it from our list. Other than that, this car has a lot of features that you do not see on the same class. Honestly, I also don't quite like the look. Vezel'sl look is far more better.

Other than both Subaru XV and Suzuki S-Cross has AWD, I cannot see any other of their features that can beat Vezel. FYI, I have test drive both.

Too bad Vezel sold locally doesn't have AWD. Actually FWD of Vezel can be a plus point as it fuel efficiency is better than XV and S-cross.

Hi, I'm very new in this forum. 1st time purchase car from PI..need advise from the bros/sis:

 

1) My PI has helped to get loan n ordered X model for me...i hv told my PI COE to cap at $60k & below..If the COE don't go down to my price..how?

 

2) I heard there is a rebate of 10k..This 10k not to rebate to u? My PI told me only 9k..

 

Can any bro/sis assist the above.

Normally PI car price already calculated based on this two factors (60k COE and CEV rebate) when they advertise the car price.

It also means Non-Guarantee COE with Top up. They will call you for top up once the COE price above $60K

1) If the COE remains above $60K over the number of bids agreed (usually up to 6), you won't get your COE and your car and therefore your sales agreement will lapse. By right your PI should then refund you any monies paid.

 

If the difference is slight, sometimes the PI may call you on the COE bidding day and ask you if you want to top up to secure your COE.

 

The COE rebate package is like a gamble, if the COE drops, you win, but if it keeps going higher and higher, that's the risk you take. The other thing is that sometimes the PIs will not indent the car until your COE is secure so bidding on such packages can entail a slightly longer wait.

 

2) I think this is the CEVS rebate, and usually already considered (discounted) in the final price of the car.

My PI quoted $108k..which mean the CEV is included? So the OMV is it still $19k+?

i will comment on point 2

yes they already factor the CEVS rebate into the price- in the words of my SE he siad its like a discount to us but in fact we will lose 10K after 10 yrs, hmmm am already thinking of selling my after maybe 5 yrs or less, sucks man

At $108k... CEVs discount already factored in. Did you PI states $108k confirm COE with no topup? Andy delivery date?

No confirm and delivery date. But my PI said he has ordered the car for me..If COE don't reach my target..I don't want to top up..so u all know how the PI handle the car?

That means ur COE capped at $60k? If u dun wanna top up then u wont get ur car... Eventually take back deposit.

If tml coe result is $66k... Why dun just topup? It means ur car price is $114.

How many bid did your SE quote you? If failure to bid COE then you wait till December and see whether Volks auto deliver or car then you can buy from them.

imho, if S-cross top variant w 4wd n pano sunroof (not moonroof) is priced competitively (definitely not at 126k, some 115-120k), this could well be another swift, n can definitely compete w vezel. it may only qualify for 5k cevs compared to 10k for vezel, but i think the well-informed would care more about parf value.
