The salesman at KM told me that "the airbags were hardly used, so no need so many". Also, "LED lights expensive to maintain/ replace. So halogen bulbs better."

I thought halogen bulbs will blow over a period of time. LED is expensive but it is a one time cost and light up your view better. Compared to halogen bulbs that blows and you need to change it couple of times (depending on your luck) over the life time of your car.\

As for airbags, IMO, of course you hope that you don't need it in your life time, but it will definitely safe your life if there is happen to have one time you need it.

then should sell hrv under 100k, since overall cost reduced.

Might as well say, cut hole in the floor and use legs to push the car maciam flintstones so can save petrol.

Tell him, LED almost never burn out, and they don't produce any heat, so there's no need to worry about hazed out headlight covers a few years down the road. Even HID headlamps can haze out the lamp covers due to high heat.

LED actually produce quite a bit of heat at that kind of brightness of automotive application, but most of it is concentrated behind the diode on the electrical board rather than from the lights itself since it's not burning something.

As a result most LED modules actually have a fan inside just to keep the circuitry cool. But as you say they won't be likely to haze the lenses because there is not much if any heat coming onto the lenses.

Chances of LED needing replacement is much lower than a halogen setup... and then of course LED usually are array.... if one diode mati sure got more in the assembly still working right?

Piangz.... The airbags very important. Just watch the video of the comfort taxi that smashed into the tree..... I believe that 1st gen taxi got no airbags.....

If u gonna house your kids in the rear, make sure get a car with rear curtain airbags. Safety is more paramount than any other feature. You don't bang people but people bang u.

One more thing, I have not tried but heard other bro mentioined that once you pull out the battery, some functions will not work. It will take a couple of days for the system to "reset" back to orignal setting. One of the function is like what you mentioned, the idling start/stop would not work. Don't worry, just leave it for a couple of days and it will come back.

Never happened to mine. I pulled out mine to install volt stab and everything seems to work fine.

Hi, who did you buy the improved X from? SE dare to confirm will pass as original? When is your delivery?

Is that why Bolehland and Sawadee Land HRVs got full 6 airbags and LED headlights as standard? Cos they used the airbags on a daily basis? LOL

Its so frustrating and sad that Salesmen are still using such 1990s excuses in a vain attempt to smoke a well informed customers.

Tell him, LED almost never burn out, and they don't produce any heat, so there's no need to worry about hazed out headlight covers a few years down the road. Even HID headlamps can haze out the lamp covers due to high heat.

What's there to maintain when LED are designed with virtually no maintenance in mind?

Aiya, just buy from PI and case close la. For the super dark rear windows, you can buy original window glass from Honda stockists who sells Thailand made glass panels and replace the glass. You still get full Honda original parts all the way

Bro, do you know who stocks the original vezel windows then? Thian Seng Motor?

I've booked an improved X like Yjchan and my SE never promise me that it will pass as original. Instead if the windows fail, they will replace with clear mirrors and then add solar film. But i'm thinking if the option to re-install X version "M2L3" windows is possible, maybe i will do it depending on cost. It could be that the affected windows are not only the rear and tail windows but also the windscreen and front windows too. Said to be 99% UV protection wor.....

1.5L iVtec +GDI 130Bhp with AWD variant [thumbsup]

SUV or MPV? how come got AWD?

if price similar as Vezel, sure hot sell

Many JDM cars and MPV offers AWD because of their snowy weather, esp if u drive in Hokkaido.

But these aint true blue SUVs, so please don't take the Fit Shuttle and attempt to climb rocks and rough terrain with it.

my car del in sept.

I suspect he did not know as well. I told him that if they had to change to clear windows that solar films will have to be included for me.
