seankwa 2nd Gear September 30, 2014 Share September 30, 2014 Hi Sean, how's the CBTA function ? -In city driving does it alert you when you are too close to in front vehicle? Engine Stop function - For Engine stop function when in Red traffic light, do you find it affect the air-con function when the engine is cut off ? Regards Yes it does, at low speeds i.e. below 30km/h In fact, I find it rather irritating at times, well... most of the time. Most recent incident was carpark upslope. Drove "too close" to the barrier and the CTBA came on (with warning beep beep beep), cutting engine power and car started to roll backwards. Luckily no car behind. Another time, while moving off from traffic light, i was again "too close" to lorry in front and (warning beep beep beep) auto e.brake! Damn! It may give you a fright. I was startled initially but getting used to it now. Engine stop does affects the air-con. But you can either manually turn this off (it will be auto-activated each time u start ur car). OR when stopping, depress brake just enough to stop the car and not to depress all the way. There is actually a slight gap in between. Of course, dun hold it in macham half-clutch position. Usually, if i know the green light is coming on soon, i will not depress the brake all the way. I tried before in the past to control but without success. There are so many factors that affect the FC and not just driving habits. After awhile I give up and just enjoy the ride. :) Wish you success and come back to share the secret of your formula. :) Driving habits is just one small factor. Traffic condition is the #1 FC killer. 1) Airwaver3, White, S model 2) Soonkuay, White, X model 3) Mitlancer71, Silver, X model 4) tanwl1970, white, G model 5) seankwa, Black, X model
oxycover 1st Gear September 30, 2014 Share September 30, 2014 Hi guys, understand that because of LTA testing and the CAT A/B confusion, the arrival of Honda Vezel might be delayed. Just want to ask 1) How long is the delay? What's the period between ordering & getting the car? 2) Is the delay due to the LTA testing only? Why does LTA do testing on all Vezels - is it cause it's parallel imported? 3) My car will have to be de-reged next year early Feb. If I want a smooth transition, when should I order it? I'm actually wondering if I should wait till January to see if the COE will drop further. By then, will LTA still need to test all Vezels? 4) I'm thinking of ordering it from Autolink, any experience with them? Thanks in advance!

But the AVG is showing 19.8km/l.
Hermit 1st Gear September 30, 2014 Share September 30, 2014 The bar only indicates how well the consumption is doing real time. The avg divides mileage by consumption. Hope it helps.

Hi Sean, can this CTBA be turned off and roughly what is the distance between your car and the object in front before it activates? Den like that how to do parallel parking? seankwa 2nd Gear September 30, 2014 Share September 30, 2014 (edited) Hi Sean, can this CTBA be turned off and roughly what is the distance between your car and the object in front before it activates? Den like that how to do parallel parking? Press and hold for 1 second to off CTBA. I dunno leh but did not encounter problem during parallel parking. It will automatically turn on the next time engine is started. Edited September 30, 2014 by seankwa ↡ Advertisement
