Soonkuay76 3rd Gear September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 Shouldn't it come from Japan, why local fitted?. you are right! It is made in Japan, however, as someone who owns a few Japanese cars somethings are locally fitted like side skirts etc and our leather seats for the car, According to my SE he say that even all the head unit and controls are fitted locally
skygon 1st Gear September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 (edited) Ooo...cos I thought the steering wheels got airbags, so mostly the integrated buttons are come manufactured in factory.. tttwei 1st Gear September 13, 2014 Share September 13, 2014 When I booked my car last month, I also asked about the Source/Volume switch available at the steering wheel.. From the last batch I observed, all the vezel X is fitted and also the reserve camera as well. As most of the DVD player (eg Pioneer), has the ability to link the switch to the player. It is v useful especially the button on the player is small and far to reach (like Pioneer, button at the left side as intended market is US left hand drive) The Source/Volume button can be buy from the Vezel Accessories and it comes with illumination if I understand the japanese correctly.
