It's illegal in body building competition (it's illegal coz it's considered cheating) but there are ppl who just want the look but not spent the whole time at the gym (but still have to workout coz taking the drugs w/o working out it will be no effect). They get faster result but less training. How else do you think a local tv actor in his 50s can come out all buffed out of the blue? Ysc3 Twincharged April 13, 2014 Share April 13, 2014 a stranger once approached me at my workplace when i was working and asked me if i had hairloss problem (actually it is pretty obvious) ... then he told me to try a packet of assam from the grocery shops ... 60 cents or so ... soak the assam in water and then apply it to your scalp for about 30 mins then wash off. i bought a packet but when i opened up the plastic bag, i could not stand the smell and did not do it. anyone game ? The catch : financially ability and most importantly, time to go down for regular treatment. He had straight thining hair. Now he has short and curly hair. He refused to say where he had the hair transplant done from. Ziweix 1st Gear April 13, 2014 Share April 13, 2014 Hi little prince . I assume you are speaking about androgenic hair loss or male pattern hair loss which occurs in men and sometimes women. It is characterised by balding mainly at the vertex ( top of the scalp ) and V shaped receding hair line. I advised you to seek help of your doctor. The most effective way will probably be taking finasteride 1mg per day. It prevents the conversion of testosterone to di hydrotestosterone in the hair follicle. You will find less hair dropping initially. To regrow some of the hair, it may take 1-2 years. However if the hair follicle is "dead" , the latter willl not grow back. Treatment is lifetime. As the medicine deals with testosterone, it will reduce your libido and may cause erectile dysfunction. You can msg me if you need further help.
