As long as you have a bunch of ppl who are not in touch with what they do and you have ppl who do not know how to say "no" to those out of touch ppl. What for you spent so many years studying engineering, I dun think neither you nor me can explain it in a day. Just show them what your other clients did and the results. That's what I do. Showing previous similar projects works.
