Paid $4 or $4 +. 1st & the last time. after that I look at their price list........ every item, except for 1 cabbage ($0.8) is around the region of $1- $1.5 and the fried noodle also $1.5. so if you ordered 3 dishes + 1 noodle, it works out to be average of 4*1.3=5.20.......if order more veggies, it will be $4+ (like your case) and if more meat will be $5+ (like my case). I think tch probably isn't stupid till such extent as to post on facebook to hope people benefit from it by eating the chicken rice every meal. most likely, as like all dwellers in the ivory tower, they lost touch with the ground and were very surprised to find such cheap chicken rice being sold. so as like all people thinking they landed a good find, they thought to share it with the public and score some political mileage points. fact is, cost of living price index won't go down because of this cheap chicken rice and neither will the average Singaporean able to meaningfully reduce their cost of living due to existence of such cheap chicken rice.
