Actually I thought the way he type is like an old uncle with a bad command of english. Thus the choice (Altis) and the die hard fan attitude.

Low running costs and good FC - True

Respectable power from 1.2T - Depends.. it performs like a 1.5L or 1.6L NA with earlier torque, that's all. Body still quite big. But enough for everyday drive.

Safety, practicality - True, lots of safety tech. Creature comforts. Generous space.

Handsome design - Exterior and interior.

You should be more worried about quality issues.. like rattling in the cabin, powerloss issue (not sure if resolved), suspension noises over humps.

As for poor servicing, which AD actually has good servicing one? My family had Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Jaguar, Renault, VW and Nissan over the years. None of them are actually good.

So far on my ownship of car I found that Honda service team really did a great job. The car have never got any major breakdown. Regretted switching to Nissan.

Bro, good luck to your purchase. 2015 China's QQ is totally differ from our QQ.

I opened it up today! It's the correct version 2016逍客. Thankfully.... But missing instructions caused me much headache. after 20mins of looking at all the bolts and nuts, I kept everything back and emailed the seller for the instructions.

Out of the 4 versions, I bought the 2nd type. There's lots of sellers in taobao. Just choose one that you think can be trusted.

What is the end game for them?

To replace you with a new car? To refund you monetarily ?

I am sure they have had very wise counseling from their corporate legal team coupled with lawyers experienced in some matters to provide the response that they did.

They would also have looked at what has transpired in the industry here and beyond in other countries .

There is no case here for the first 2 to be awarded to you . It will be unprecedented and made so much more stronger when a no fault stance is being asserted by them (and supported by the manufacturer as the oem principal themselves has not issued a recall ). Even in the case of VW or other makes in the USA, it is just the recall to get a remedy done not a refund nor a replacement . Also such things as NVH (noise , vibration, harshness) are never spelled out as part of the warranty. So if you hoping for this , you can forget it. And if the GM is taking a personal interest , it means it suggests that they are doing everything that they can. It is a good move on their side since a mediation if offered by CASE to both sides (them and you) is preempted and will instead be deemed unnecessary since the senior management is already cooperating and personally trying to solve your problems.

You best bet is to get the problems properly rectified by the workshop and quickly .

Because if they did a

è»èç¹æ°´ (a dragonfly skimming the surface of the water act ie superficial actions that never solve them), you also LL. Indeed you are like

ç§åçè±è¢ï¼è¹¦ä¸ªæ²¡å 天äº

(A grasshopper at the end of autumn, its days are numbered), since they need only to keep troubleshooting as per current status quo till the contractual warranty with you runs out.

Don't kid yourself .They already have thought many steps ahead of you. Yours will just be a scream in the dark, and afterwards silence. Any wrong move from you and they could counter sue you for libel, damages

Well recall as in update software; not to refund or so forth. Few cars were recalled for safety reasons. Weak valve, airbags, etc.. I'll in fact praise them if they did, rather than compromising drivers' lives.

Yeap, do agree with u. Am afraid that they will just play the 'i am trying to fix game till warranty runs out' game.

Hi QQ enthusiasts!!

Hv been getting mixed signals about the QQ.

Am really thinking whther its a good buy for my parents.

i was thinking that 1.2 is econ for road tax, and engine turbo so got respectable power.

Thinking more frm angle of safety and practicality and good running costs.

Heard some bad feedbk abt aircon and loss of power. Also abt poor svc from Tan Chong.

Hope to get done honest feedbk from the QQ enthusiasts, thanks

Get at your own risk. Minority facing problems, but once u do, TC's service std is really bad.

Hi , do u think that the 1.2 reliability is on par with Nissan Latio or sunny . Read many negative comments in this forum . Now got new noise issue when braking . Is it a common problem ? Is the QQ 2.0 more reliable ?

Very rarely see negative feedback on the 2l here.

Did you check out other similar car makes before you buy ?

Morning Cashcow , did test Subaru xv , Mazda 3 , K3 . But prefer QQ design and interior . If its reliability is the same as Latio . I will be ok with it . Not comfortable with the power loss and brake clicking sound . If minor rattling I still ok .

As good if not better la.. Both Sunny EX and Latio Premium also had its fair share of issues, teething problems that were ironed out over time. For QQ 5 years unlimited mileage warranty no worries.

My QQ coming to 40K km liao (touch wood, no such issues).. now sourcing for tyres. The Continentals getting noisy at this mileage. [laugh]

Bro u ok anot 2.0 u call bumpy ah? Then I seriously don know what is call comfort to u liao.. Maybe last time u driving conti cars so u find that is bumpy..

19" low profile is nice seriously all the cars I drive before I usually change it to low profile so not a problem..

Ya I believe last time when u guys bought the 1.2 is now the 2.0 price..

Haha..my previous ride is Toyota. First time on Low profile tyres and first time driving crossover. Maybe I'm not used to it yet or maybe l shouldn't compare with sedan car in term of comfort and road noise.

It's the bus lane warning.

Thanks to all the bros that replied. It's not speed cause it only chimes when I am travelling very slowly and never on the highway. So it's bus lane warning. But good to know that it can alert for speed too.

Is this normal? Clicking sound...

Is this normal? Loud clicking sound...

I'm not sure if its the same thing but my 2 month old QQ started having strange brake pedal behaviour too.

It started when I parking the car. My wheel was turned, and when I stepped on the brakes to go into reverse, it made a mechanical click sound. It felt like there was an additional amount of "give" in the brake pedal that wasn't there before. It's like a light tap would only move the pedal but not engage the brake until after the "click", although the brake light would still be lit.

So because I was curious, I kept tapping on the brake pedal to get feel of it. That was when the brake pedal suddenly "locked up" in the raised position, meaning I can't press down on it anymore. Good thing I was already parked so I turned off the engine, waited for a moment before turning it back on. Thankfully, the brake "released" and I could press it all the way down again. The clicking also mysteriously disappeared. Everything felt engaged as it should.

Was this similar to anyone else's experience?

Can always do it outside. $20-25 only small $$$.

No hope for TC WS, if not warranty issue, will just do all the servicing outside.

Is it the mechanical switch "click" sound when you put ur gear in park and step on the brakes?

your brakes is fully pressurised as u were "pumping" ur brakes when you keep stepping on it.

SA told me that their ramp cannot lift up the car because of my side steps. Imo their tyre mechanic is not willing to go the extra miles for customers.

I know, I will rotate my tyre outside. I could do it with 2 jacks by myself if I want to.

Precisely! TC WS is a joke.
