Redman 1st Gear January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 If you are familiar with the Qashqai 1.2, the supercharger in the Renault sourced engine works only at low speed below 60km/h. Any faster speed, the Supercharger does not activate, leaving the poor 1200 cc engine to move the heavy car body. This explains the sudden loss of power > 60km/h. thanks.. i am beginning to come to term with the fact that this is not the usual NA car i was used to. . somehow mindset gotta change about it. will explore ways to make driving this car more fun.. for a start.. how to drive a automatic turbo car haha https://www.quora.com/Whats-the-best-way-or-most-proper-way-to-drive-a-turbo-charged-car-like-a-BMW

It will hapen to all car , it hapen only first moving off ? Correct ? Is your car running in period ? Are u too gentle to the pedal ? TC will not alble to solve this ,need factory rewrite sofware. At 55km/h cvt shift up gear , rpm too low , rpm drop further, cvt shift down again .rpm go up Bck to normal. We should not drive this wat .just little bit pedal it will not occur

Nickelly Clutched January 19, 2016 Share January 19, 2016 It seems like lost of power is a common issue for QQ1.2. I have the same feeling for my QQ which is 2 months old. Sometime i just feel the car has no pick up powder although it has light turbo (pls pardon me, I am not very good in car). Sometime when I am trying to park my car, i will feel the car like difficult to move. Can reload the software helps? Recently, the front passenger leather seat starts to have wrinkles. I am wondering should I go back to TC as this is under warranty. Anybody encounter the same problem as mine? Anybody feel the "start/stop" button good to use? kumquat 3rd Gear January 19, 2016 Share January 19, 2016 Folks... chill please. Every car has its small kinks and most of the time the drivers can alter their driving habits to bring out the best in the car. Some have said their friend's QQ have no issues but so far I have not seen a real owner that step up and said his QQ is perfectly fine. I was apprehensive to get a Nissan but the QQ won me over with it's interior, exterior looks, low road tax and insurance. 3 months after getting my car, I am still charmed everytime I look at my car and would really like to continue driving it for as long as possible. Personally though, definitely would not recommend this car to any friends. After spending more than 100k...here's why.... 1) Really bad crumpled leather seats after the first day (Resolved) 2) Front rattling sound after first week (Resolved) 3) Back rattling sound after second week (Unresolved even after bringing it back to TC) 4) Loss of power after a slow turn/u-turn (Resolved) 5) Brake lock after disengaging from parking brakes (So far have been unable to replicate this issue) 6) Slight condensation in left headlamp after a heavy downpour

rachel53 1st Gear January 19, 2016 Share January 19, 2016 just sent my car to TC for checking... anyway, they claimed that it is not "power loss", but because of the electronic circuit/software of the start-stop function, the "smart" car have lagging to detect the acceleration. and they are in midst with resolving this problem with Nissan Europe for disable this function permanently. they had reload the software and asked me to monitor if it happens again.. and here's the STEPS to prevent this "LAGGING" from happening: 1. press START (without pressing brake) 2. off "start-stop" 3. Press START, with pressing brake to on the car 4. PUT ON SEATBELT 5. release hand brake 6. put to "d" 7. DRIVE OFF. kaoz! my concern is on the safety!! this "lagging" definitely is posing a danger on the road.2 days ago, when i was making a U-turn.. and the car couldn't move off fast enough.. crawling slowly... then got honk by an oncoming car! aside to this, the service counter also damn BS! i was suppose to collect my car at 3pm. i called back TC at 3.30 to confirm if i can collect my car, they mentioned there's a delay, because they are giving a free wash to my car, and i am able to collect it at 4pm. i reached and mentioned time, car still not ready.. say its still at washing bay. but guess what! when i finally collect my car at 5pm.. it wasn't WASH at all!! soooo disappointing.. I just collected my car yesterday.. but already encounter: - power loss - when moving off from U-turn - car boot jam - brake not responsive.. have to really step hard to come to a stop. should I bring it TC or just wait till 1st serving?
