hi all, thinking of getting another car and Nissan Qashqai is one of my list.

I am more a fuel efficient driver then a performance driver, but because of work, I cannot driver honda fit alike car.. need some thing more "executive" but I prefer SUV then sedan car...

so I need some QQ owner to feedback it is worth getting the QQ, if I want to get a used Nissan QQ, which year is better to buy? more of the running cost and maintenance cost question..

sorry one more question, does the QQ 1.2 Tubo need 98RON pump? or 95RON is good enough?

Everytime i see a qq on the road, can't help but try to see their moveoff from stationery. Always intrigued by the way it can move off with ease n leave me stranded behind! Koaz.

Actually moving off depends a lot on drivers lah. I ever see BMW slower than lorry and once I smell mazda 2 smoke also.

Then another time a ferrai was in front of me at junction, moved off damm fast when light turns green..... but I still caught up with it at the next junction. So I told my wife this car can catch up a Ferrari, in sg roads.

Confirm cannot beat honda fit/jazz in FC cos I was driving jazz before this car.

Just pump 46.82L having travel 622Km equates 13.28km/L. Trips meter shows 13.3km/L so it is quite accurate.

Most cars have 5 years warranty and servicing cost more or less the same.

The clear winner for 1.2dig-T is the road tax. No other car of this size is paying lesser road tax than QQ1.2 and minimum petrol grade is Ron 95.

I was happy driving my wife's car the past 2 nights.

In terms of perfomance, my car is few times better. But, seriously.... i thoroughly enjoyed driving QQ thou. (Pls dont ask me to change car, i just like new car thats all)

Feel conti, drives ok, decent size, looks swee, and 1.2cc .....

Pick up? What pick up u looking?

I had a mk6 gti and done up to stage 3....

But i didnt miss gti a bit after changing so many cars.....

How fast u wanna go?

Give u max max ..... faster than anyone by 10mins if all start from same point. Enjoy life a bit la.

Ha ha ha....

Hey bro where did you buy the side steps?

Any drilling required? Is it heavy? I'm looking for it for my new QQ. Thanks!

I boug it from taobao via diagou. I think its about 8kg for both and no drilling required but i think need to remove a plastic protector under the car in order to fit the rail, i might be wrong. Anyway i altered the cover to fit them.

Lol, "pang chance" on my parking. Have to cater one lot for my not very thin body to access the undercarriage.

It took me awhile to figure out how to fit them. It doesn't come with installation guide and only gave me 4 pics upon request.

One side 4~5kg only. Screwdriver, wrench or spanner will do the job.

thanks for the feedback, 13.2km/l is very good. I drove my honda fit last time only manage to clock 14.4km/l (I heavy over 90kg)

46.82L can go 622km.. to me that is consider god-send.. my current old SUV mazda CX-7 is drinking petrol faster then I drink water, 69L can only go 420km before the light up... almost 5 day have to pump petrol.

yes, compact SUV size with a 1.2cc engine is a steal for roadtax...

think after CNY I go test drive the QQ 1.2T and 2.0 see how
