Seriously, if one has read this thread, one is able to tell who is TC agents "contributing" to this thread;-)

By the way, those who are going to test drive the car.. You may have the feeling of driving an elephant.. And a stubborn one :)

Haha. Stubborn elephant? That's cute. You must be too used to driving your ferrari. Give us poor QQ owners a break, the car is perfectly fine for pick up.

Nissan833 you definitely not an agent, so strong words from you lambasting at TC at one time. Actually despite the statement I am clueless as to who can be (in my opinion none are). It would be good though for TC to take notice and make continuous improvements plans from the feedbacks

If there are these so called agents here in this thread, Tan Chong need to sack them because they are so lousy at it!!!  [laugh]

QQ is much safer car with 6 airbag n 5 star NCAP. Compare altis

Yup safety was my no.1 priority.... airbags, body strength, NCAP etc. no way I gonna drive a tin can around.

Toyota altis has lesser problem... Parts are easily available since it is toyota and servicing at outside workshops is possible and plentiful.. QQ1.2T is using turbo.. Hence Servicing outside might not be safe. If you read this forum and UK's.. You can see the many problems with QQ1.2T, unless you are very free to visit TC frequently and vommit blood at the people there who have no clue to the problems and just smoke out... Btw, you may look at TC Servicing charge for qq1.2t.. It is almost the same as teana for a low end car

In general, SUV has higher depreciation compare to saloon. What do you mean servicing turbo cars outside is not safe? LOL like that those PI cars like Merc, BMW, Bentley, Ferrari with turbo charge no need to sell their cars. Also there is no diff in terms of car servicing  use on a TC and a NA car... when u service, u change oil, filters.... same same. QQ use less engine oil only but the labor cost should be the same.

What is the problem with your car? I also have knocking sound and going to fry them tom.... if they cant fix it I gonna go to my mechanic.

I do not have any major issues with my 1.2 for the past 2 months.

The only problem I have is the rattling, or rather, knocking sound behind my steering wheel. That happens only when my car is not warmed up. After warmed for few minutes, you do not hear this knocking sound.

FC wise, I found it acceptable. for a full tank of 95, this car can clock around 630 to 7xx km. Quite sensitive to your road conditions. But I have not been able to clock amazing FC that some bros here do.

Over taking and moving off from traffic lights are never a problem. Power comes when you need as long as you know how CVT works.

Overall, happy with the car. Just hope that the electronic parts can last 10 years.

Knocking noise is wholly not acceptable, you should get TC to fix it and tell you what was the cause

I never had the power loss issue since having the car from 2015 February.

I am not saying the problem isn't real but I think some people here are mistaking it for the safety feature of turbocharger not kicking in early when you floor the accelerator after making a sharp turn or U-turn.

That said, I only experienced this safety feature once shortly after collection, after that I learnt to adapt my foot to the accelerator response, know when to floor and not to floor, all okay liao.

Seats wrinkled, go back to the local installer. Check your Nissan manual, there's a warranty card for it with contact & address - 36 months limited warranty.

Why need to floor the accelerator? My previous car is manual then i always floor, but QQ step lightly can le.. i haven floor the accelerator b4..

Any chance to see a $1 CAT B with crazy $54K worth of rebate? Would any SE actually deliver a $1 bid? Those who booked a 2.0L would be at the edge of their seats now…

err now is still early.. cat B chong very fast in very short time one.. haha..

anyway if the coe is below the rebate amt the dealers is ok to give u rebate cos what they want is a COE as close to the rebate amt.. any higher they need to pay, any lower its ok cos its factor in..

Precisely.. if floor the accelerator after making a sharp or U-turn, the safety feature will kick in and a sudden lack of power may be felt because the turbocharger doesn't kick in when wheels are not straightened out.

You have an early start with QQ ahead of most of us and can provide a good referencing point for us to understand it's historical performance .

are your cameras by TC , if so how did you get them to record in parked mode ? last I checked tyre was $280 (continental) at tc (indent was necessary) and last week $350 (falken) at Stamford .

I tend to use Stamford as they provide free puncture repair and they do it fast .

The HU is a mistake. The vendor is China which explains all.

Camera is from aftermarket blackvue. Night park connected to magic power box. The original battery from Nissan is a small capacity. I changed to a bigger one to accommodate the night park current draining.

Car is ok for performance except not enough boot space and cabin storage area. It will be perfect if electric tail gate is offered.

that's to maintain low cost bro ...

i'm sure nissan can load up a high spec car but that will lose the competitiveness of QQ pricing
